We stayed at the hotel mid-December for a little over a week. The Christmas markets were in full swing and loud but the double windows kept out the noise and we had no trouble sleeping. We stayed three floors up from the ground directly across from the Astronomical Clock -perfect view for pictures and viewing. The room was clean and...

Location is excellent and I stayed for 3 nights (9-12 feb 2017)in room 202 facing the famous astronomical clock. Not noisy but people were there till midnight. Not far away from Charles bridge and I think the hotel is the center to many places of attractions. Plus points-room spacious, clean and good breakfast. Concerns- no lift, no coffee making facility

Great spot to get to all the sights! Right in old square ! This is a nice hotel with friendly staff. The receptionists where helpful as was the guy down stairs in the tour desk, super helpful. The rooms are clean and very nice with the style reminiscent of their previous bohemian era, only negative about room was that even...

The Presidential Suite in this lovely and centrally-located hotel is not to be missed. Sporting two separate rooms (bed & living area), a walk-in closet, a separate shower/bath, WC and sauna, this room (rooms in fact) make you feel like royalty. The view from the room is spectacular - open the window and gaze at the astronomical clock directly across...

The location of the hotel is perfect. You can see the old town square and the clock from the room. The stuff is very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our time there. The breakfast is good (Typical European breakfast). The wifi connection at the rooms was poor.

Stayed here for 3 nights as we wanted to bit right in the middle of the Old Town. The hotel is situated dead opposite the astrological clock so you can't go wrong. We had one of the historical rooms which was truly magnificent! Buffet breakfast were fab in the stylish breakfast room & we could watch the animated clock strike...

This was a fantastic hotel right at the astronomical clock. The rooms are older, but very comfortable - some with views of the astronomical clock. The service was phenomenal, and the staff would bend over backwards to help out. There are a couple of things to keep in mind, though - if you drive a car there, you have to...

What an utterly charming hotel. There is a warm welcoming atmosphere... The reception staff are outstandingly charming and helpful... totally welcoming . The room was exceptionally comfortable. We had a direct view of the magical town clock! The breakfast was generous and delicious with good choices. The location of the hotel could not be better... central and surrounded by bars...

The memory of this gorgeous boutique hotel will stay with us forever. Arriving on the 6th January 2017, our beautiful and cosy room afforded us a view over the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock Tower and the magical Christmas stalls set up below us in the cobbled square, one of which provided decadent hot chocolate made of melted chocolate...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
