This hotel had all the modern conveniences one could ask for. Its location was next to a small park (Kampa Garden) about 100 meters from the river. It was an easy walk to the river side restaurants on the western bank of the Vltava. Breakfast was buffet style, and for those who like the outdoors you could opt to have...

We stayed here for a vacation in Dec 2015. The hotel was in the perfect location! It was right at the foot of the Charles bridge. So easy to get to. Was tucked into a perfect little spot right next to a park. The hotel was very quiet, and was far enough away from the noise of the bridge. Complimentary...

This is a great hotel in a quiet and secluded area; though still right in the centre of the city (5 minutes to Charles Bridge, 15 minutes to the historical centre). My room was clean, comfortable and with good facilities (except no air con - just a fan). Providing free drinks in the mini-bar (both water and beer) is an...

Not luxury, but lovely, clean, spacious rooms in perfect location. Just 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge, but quiet and private on Kampa Island. Little veranda behind hotel to sit and watch the canal. Parks/grassy areas for sitting or playing soccer 5 minutes walk. Price of room includes extensive fresh breakfast and minibar included too. Parking expensive at €20/night but...

Dear valued guests, we appreciate your comments including less possitive ones. Regarding the space issue, because it is an old building there are limitations on same of the room sizes. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
