Really great stay at the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, breakfasts were great, lots of choice. Staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. We found a bat on the way to the hotel and didn't know what to do with it, the receptionist made a number of calls and arranged for an animal rescue organisation to collect it !!...

The building is unlikely to impress you at first since it is fairly nondescript but the hotel soon grows on you. Rooms are decent size, well appointed. Location just cannot be better, a romantic, quiet place close to the Charles Bridge.

We stayed there for 5 days in September and loved the place. The room(#308) was spacious, comfortable and had a great view. The location on Kampa Island was perfect. The beds were super comfortable too, and the food good. Service was also very good and did I say the location was great? We would stay there again if we return...

I have booked Hotel Kampa Garden base on the review from Trip Advisor & stayed there from 18th to 24th Oct. I am delighted this is an excellent choice of hotel at the quiet corner of Kampa Island & a few minute walks to Charles Bridge (Karlovy Most) & Mala Strana. It is also approximately 15 mins walk to Old...

Dear Guest, thank you for your review. I apologize about the cleaning of the glass counter. I talked to the housekeeping staff. Usually they do a great job, but they also do not want to move people's private things on the counter like shavers, toothbrush and other to much, to prevent their damage. I took necessary steps to improve cleaning...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
