The hotel was a pleasant surprise. I did not expect anything, and I found everything. We booked through a travel agency. We chose the hotel as the location is the centre of Prague. The hotel is located in the downtown close to everything. You can walk to all the monuments and to the most famous locals. We were a group...

Very nice hotel in the central parts of old town in Prague. Walking distance to all sightseeings as Old town have to give you. Karls bridge, astronomic clock and many restaurants and shopping. The room was bigger than I expected as it was in the old town. Nice breakfast included, wifi also but quite slow. Parking costs extra but needed...

Somewhat dated fixtures but very clean and great location (walking distance to all the major points of interest). The staff are very helpful and the car was parked inside the hotel behind a locked gate... Bathroom was very small but adequate

The Modra Ruse is located right smack dab in the middle of old town Prague, literally walking distance to any site in Praha 1. As far as nearby restaurants, a hundred or so within a five minute walk in each direction would be a conservative estimate. The same goes for shopping opportunities. On arrival, the friendly staff allowed us to...

We stayed at this hotel from 26th to 29th December 2014. The hotel itself is a two minute walk to the Old Town Square and is in a perfect location for everything. The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms we had were very large and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is amazing. There...

I highly recommend this hotel, situated in Old town. It was our first visit to Prague and very glad I chose this hotel. Its not a 5 star, room is adequate, (just need a place to sleep) , hotel is close to public transport and walking distance to many tourist places.

We had a marvelous time here. The hotel was wonderful. The pricing is great. The breakfast was outstanding. The only issue I had was the parking. You can't park in front of the hotel so we had to park over 700 meters away and walk. We have a 1 year old and that was a far walk with her and...

This hotel is very well located in Prag's old town. Only few minutes food walk to the astronomic clock and shopping malls. Everything is very clean and handy. Parking is available for a small fee. The stuff is kindly and competent. WLAN in room is for free. I really recommended this hotel for a long or short stay :-)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
