room was a dream come true, experience overall was excellent. In terms of speaking of the hotel there's nothing that I could complain. The area is 100 meters from the charle's bridge, and not in the city center (which I consider a good thing)

Our room was very spacious, having a separate bedroom and with very comfy beds. Breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. We were in a great location for exploring all the sights of Prague.

Went there on a Saturday right when they opened for lunch (1130) based on the recommendation of our Prague on Segway tour guide. So glad we listened to her because this place is a gem. Great beer, food and service with very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back when I return to Prague. Highly recommend the roast beef with vegetable...

This is the second time we have visited Prague and stayed in the Lokal Inn. This was stay was as good as the first. We returned with 7 friends and all 4 rooms were spacious and very comfortable. From check-in to check-out and arranging transport from and to the airport were all handled professionally. We had a meal in the...

The living room is huge and the whole place is very clean and comfortable. It's so very conveniently placed by Charles Bridge and the attractions. Staff were helpful and the food is good. I would recommend staying here. The only downside is that there is no lift.

Stayed here with family for 3 nights in July and absolutely loved it. Our only gripe, if any, was climbing the stairs after a long day of sightseeing since there are no elevators. Rooms were surprisingly large by European standards and comfortable too. It's location is unbeatable. Right by Charles Bridge and within walking distance of all the major attractions...

I much prefer the Lesser Quarter in Prague, and Lokal Inn is perfectly situated. Just around the corner from Charles Bridge for accessing old town, but nestled in the classier Lesser Quarter. The accommodation was a bit of a shock as we walked into a massive living space (about 9 x 8 paces wide), with windows all around - beautiful!...

Lokal Inn is a nice hotel, on an ancient building at an excellent location, literally around the corner from Charles Bridge. It as a friendly informal atmosphere (the beer bar on the ground floor contributes to it), and the rooms are comfortable, sizable, with lots of natural light. Staff are attentive, although sometimes reception desk is empty and nobody can...

The hotel itself is quite lovely. The beds are nice, the linens are top notch. The breakfast is only so so but it's fine. The location is great if you want to be in the thick of the touristic Charles bridge area. The Lokal Inn dinner is very decent. So all that sounds great, it sounds like 4 stars right?...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
