The hotel looks much better inside than ouside. Everything is pretty new and stylish. The location is perfect, every sight is close by on foot. It is in the heart of the city. Breakfast is more mediterian than traditional czech, but still really good. Quality is excellent, and huge variety. Unfortunetly no choice of coffee, just americano. Staff could be...

Room was incredible, with exceptional views (ask for a room on the 4th floor). Very clean, friendly staff who are very helpful. You can leave your suitcase with reception once you check out to enjoy your last few hours in Prague. We ordered room service when we arrived after a long journey. The food was quickly delivered & very tasty!...

Couldn't get anymore central other than in the square, once you are here walk in either direction to find all the attractions, 10min walk to George Bridge and other attractions, hotel is clean and friendly, wifi is good and the rooms are of a good size.

Check in was friendly and fast. The lobby is small and needs renovation. Some things about this hotel (like the hallways) have a Warsaw Pact feel, but the rooms are big and equipped with everything needed. The bathroom was large and new. The walk to Old Town Square takes about 10 minutes and Wenceslas Square also about 10 minutes. Plenty...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of March as part of our honeymoon trip around Europe. The customer service from the front desk was fantastic - very polite and friendly and spoke excellent English. They kindly upgraded us and congratulated us on our honeymoon. We also used them to book a river cruise and...

Didn't have to hesitate when considering if I should give this excellent Hotel four or five stars. Great location in walking distance of most attractions beside a tram stop if needed. Staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast, comfortable bedrooms. Would definitely return and recommend for a visit to the beautiful city of Prague

Arrived in Prague at eight am after a long journey, it was minus thirteen degrees. Found our way to the hotel very easily and cheaply using the bus and the metro. We were dreading having to wait a few hours to get into our room but were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves given the keys to our room straight away....

Staff are really friendly and our room was really modern and clean. It's within walking distance of most of the main attractions and their bar is absolutely stunning! Only bad thing I can say about it is that the beds are really hard so it took me longer than usual to fall asleep.

This hotel is in an old building, looks lovely from the street - very traditional. Our room was on the ground floor, along a polished tiled floor which looked original. The car park I think possibly uses the old stable entrance. The building has been there since 1902. It's just over the road from the National Theatre - across a...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
