Our first night in Prague wasn't so good since our first hotel wasn't so good. We then walked around and found this hotel on the way with good location. We then stayed here 2 nights and it save our trip. It's a lot better especially at the SAME price compare to another hotel we stayed in. Location about 5-10 mins...

We stayed here for 4 nights in November 2007 as we wanted a nice getaway for a few days. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly porter and 2 reception staff who handled our check-in very efficiently. The room itself was very nice with wonderful furnishings and a great layout. The bathroom was again also very nice, the...

This hotel has very nice rooms. Unfortunately I will never book there for my company again. Because the front desk upset my guests so much it was highly embarrassing. I could not explain them why they were treated that way. ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY TERRIBLE treatment by the front desk.

I have just returned from a Long weekend in Prague where we stayed at the eurostars thalia, medium sized room and very clean. I agree that the hotel may not have been a 5* but i would defently rate it a 4*. The breakfast that was included in our rate was delicious, fresh fruit, cereals, breads, meats and cheeses and...

I have just returned from a short stay at the eurostars thalia and can honestly say that I had no complaints. The hotel may not have been a 5* but i would defently rate it a 4*. The check-in and check-out was very straight forward and stress free. There was late check out rooms,if we had wanted to pay to...

A well appointed hotel with a great central location. We did not experience any of the problems detailed in the other reviews. The room was large, modern and very comfortable with a huge double bed that did not have 2 mattresses joined in the middle and had an equally large duvet and great pillows. The bathroom was fantastic with a...

Excellent service, superb central location and lots of nice freebies in the room. The hotel is quite a boutique hotel and the apartment style rooms are huge and well-appointed. Very good value. And a splendid breakfast on top!

This hotel is not nearly as bad as others have described. Service was spotty for sure, but the hotel itself was very nice, fabulous location, walking distance to everything. Room was nicely furnished, but insufficient lighting. Quiet Internet did not work in rooms---frustrating, but was available in the lobby, and they did come to our room to try and fix...

Would absolutely not stay here again. We paid over $200.00 per night (that's very expensive for Prague) for three nights. Consider that the brand new Crowne Plaza in the same area was $15.00 a night less expensive. In exchange we got a very pretty room with the worst service that I have ever encountered. By bad service. I don't mean...

Stayed in Hotel Thalia for 3 nights on a short trip to Prague. Hotel claims to be 5 star but is certainly not. I would say low 4 star. Rooms are nice and modern looking. No amenities normal to other hotels like no Iron and Ironing board and when I say NO I mean the hotel does not even have...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
