This is a very charming hotel, and very comfortable and tastfully decorated too. We didnt have breakfast included, so I cant say anything about that. The staff was friendly. It's in probably the most touristy street of Prague, but the hotel itself is quiet and calm.

We couldn't have asked for more. We stayed in room 7, we loved it. Spacious, with the bathroom separated by a small hall, all within our room. They gave us complimentary chocolate and lemon/mint water. We had no view but that means a quiet room at night with the best sleep. The staff were lovely and very helpful, thank you...

This hotel is authentic. Old building, decently remodelled with destroying its heritage. We enjoyed a pleasant stay in the lavish appartment und the roof: 120 sqm of luxury. Large flat creen tv, luxury Danish bed and a sweet liile balkony with a great view at the busy street live in the historic heart of the Czech capital. Parking and unloading...

The black eagle is a nice hotel which feels like staying in a museum and it has a nice restaurant too. There are a few negative aspects which are acceptable such as the lack of an elevator, although the in room complementary beverage selection of instant nescafe and Lipton yellow label tea felt inappropriate, at this price some nicer coffee...

We were in Prague late June early July this year and ate here twice. On both nights the food and service was exceptional. Excellent location in lower town just over Charles bridge. Could not recommend it highly enough. Two fillet steaks and wine for just over £30.00

Just had a wonderful meal her. The surroundings are traditional and the service good. Particularly recommend the goulash soup served in a bread loaf and then the ribs both sublime. A short walk from the bridge where you can enjoy soaking the atmosphere and views.

We did not stay at the hotel, so we cannot judge the hotel, but the restaurant in the hotel was an absolute find. (If I could have found the restaurant on TripAdvisor, I would have critiqued there, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to rate this restaurant somewhere.) We were without a reservation for this night and decided to...

Upon arrival i was greeted with a smile and welcoming atmosphere. I upgraded my room to the imperial suite (room 11) and was in HEAVEN... the room had everything a girl could ask for including a kitchen and balcony overlooking the beautiful city view. Each morning i walked downstairs and was greeted with a friendly "good morning" and was escorted...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
