We stayed here for 5 nights. Unfortunately we had to mix our stay between an executive room (bigger but on the lower level) and a superior double (smaller in size but on the upper deck and so with french doors that opened to give a much better view than the 2 small windows in the executive room). The hotel was...

Great view over the canal. Clean rooms with air condition. Helpful staff. Great location with a couple of 100 meters to Charles Bridge. But the room is a bit small and room for the clothes is scarce. We only ate breakfast at the restaurant but it seemed nice and cosy.

Without any personal recommendations, we decided to stay here on a short 2 night stay in Prague. We were extremely happy with this place! It was wonderful to return to our room on the boat after a full day of touring around Prague. It's about a 20 minute walk to old town, or take the tram right next to the...

Popped in for dinner after walking by earlier in the day. No reservation required on this occasion although we were asked if we had one which is always a good sign. Fast friendly prompt service with excellent food. Views of the Castle and the river, which is to be expected given it's on a boat, but not wishing to do...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are cosy - we didn't have a suite - but there's enough space. Dark wood adds to the stately feeling. Bathroom is small but again, adequate. Our room faced the entrance which meant we could never open our blinds and the lights in the room are not too bright. Breakfast served at the restaurant...

In total there are 25 various rooms, while 7 of them are situated on the original Matylda boat, where also an italian restaurant is located. Another 18 rooms on the newer Klotylda boat. We had the chance to stay in the deluxe junior suite, the only one with private terrace. It was a dream, especially with such a nice weather....

After a day in Prague with it's rich and heave and huge meals that little place is just perfect. Food was very good and stuff were nice. I had...

A great place to stay for any reason in Prague, as you have every attraction near by. There is a tram stop just by the door, if you have a car there is parking space, the restaurant and breakfast is really good.

Stayed at the hotel from 5-7 July 2012 in the junior suite. The Matylda was very clean with excellent rooms that are equipped with A/C, flat screen tv w/ DVD player and cable (all channels in Czech), comfortable beds and great decor. The staff were very helpful with all directions to the tram, metro and other questions we had. We...

I spent only one night at the Botel Matylda, thus my review is based on little experience. It is centrally located at the Vltava river and is actually a little houseboat (there is an Italian restaurant attached as well). This alone makes the place very unique. You enter the hotel like you enter a boat. Very unique. The room we...
