High recommended - an unusual hotel located approx 10/15mins walk from all attractions. We booked a Superior room which was exceptionally clean but overlooked bank not river - suggest asking for River side. The reception staff were excellent advising on sightseeing and provising extra pillows etc. The restaurant provides a romantic setting in the adjoining boat - three couse meal...

Your dream vacation starts here. This botel is so classic compared to the others in town. The staterooms are darling withgreat detail. We loved that our windows opened right onto the river and the swans were right there ready to eat! The Italian restaurant is also quite good. The breakfast buffet is first class and the views are spectacular both...

We stayed at the Botel Matylda mid-December last year.... Can thoroughly recommend. Room very clean and cosy; small bathroom but good shower. Good breakfast and would recommend the restaurant (especially on jazz evenings). Will stay here again when we revisit Prague.

We absolutely loved our 3 nights staying at Botel Matylda. I can honestly say that it is one of my favourite places that I have stayed in anywhere on my travels so far. Initially I was a little concerned that the location would be a bit far from the sites but it turned out to be perfect - very quiet...

We stayed on Flotylda (next door to Matylda).Paid a little more for an upper level room facing out to the river with great views of Prague castle and the beautiful buildings on the other bank. Very helpful staff. Cozy room, comfortable bed, great shower area (no bath) and decent sized TV. The restaurant doubles up as a great location for...

I have to say that I have always meant to write a review for a hotel before but never got around to it, I felt that I needed to really make the effort here as this hotel was absolutely brilliant. The ladys at the reception were great, customer service out of this world, always asked every morning what our plans...
