Small double rooms but comfortable water turned cold a few times during shower, so shower fast only 1 pillow each asked cleaning lady for new towels next morning and she said no and then the receptionist knocked on our door an hour later (after we had already showered) asking if we would like our room clean or just new towels....

My husband and I stayed at the Botel Matylda in November. We were in Prague for two nights and couldn't be happier with the hotel we picked. It was located in a very convenient spot. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to see in the Old Town and beyond. There is also a tram stop right across the...

We stayed at the Matylda (technically on the Clotylda moored alongside the Matylda which is the hotel extension boat) for four days and we loved it. The rooms are plush mahogany affairs with tapestries and beautiful wooden furniture. Like being on a classic tall mast sailing ship. The hotel restaurant is on the top deck of the Matylda and it's...

This is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, I would pay for the river side room rather than the bank side. Swans swimming up to your window! The attached boat with the restaurant offers really good food and a beautiful setting. Location is nice and central but not too noisy. The staff were...

just returned from 5 nights in Prague staying at Botel Matylda. Actually it is two boats. Matylda is the restaurant with all round views of the river and a few rooms below deck. Klotylda has the reception and the better rooms. We stayed in an Executive room downstairs in Klotylda with swans and mallards paddling past our windows and wonderful...

Booked here for our wedding anniversary dinner and couldn't fault the welcome, service, food and wine. Because I am claustrophobic we asked when booking for a table as close to the outside as possible but not on the terrace in case the weather was poor. We got exactly that just inside the double doors to the terrace. The food was...

Great location!! Very special hotel! Different atmosphere due to the hotel being a house boat! The rooms have a o.k. size but who needs a gigantic room anyway? Therefore, we would give the room a 4 out of 5 but only because there was no aircon and it was super hot in July (around 38 degrees). Great location - close...

First of all be aware this is actually two boats now, the original was Matylda and now moored next to it, is Klotylda but you book it as if it were Matylda. This hotel is basically 2 converted barges moored on the Vltava river by the Mines gallery and on the junction of the Jiraskuv Most bridge. Klotylda is brand...

I had an very pleasant and quite unique stay in Prague for 4 weeks in February/ March 2010. I stayed at the Botel Matylda, or to be more specific at the sister ship Klotylda. The boats are moored next to each other on the Vltava river in the middle of Prague next to the "Fred and Ginger" house designed by...
