You know those hotels that you visit and you never want to leave... that is how I felt about The Nicholas Hotel Residence in Prague. Incredible location in Mala Strana, adjacent to the Church of St Nicholas, 5 minutes from Charles Bridge. As if the location alone wasn't enough to sell you through on some of the best customer service...

We felt like we were at home away from home. Amazing staff, especially Rado who helped us plan our 3day trip really well. Great location - 2mins walk from Charles Bridge. Value for money. Breakfast buffet was served just outside our room. The rooms are quite spacious. Superb beds, you just don wanna get out in the morning..

We can't speak highly enough of the Nicholas Hotel, excellent, cosy rooms with a kitchenette with everything you need for a short stay, great breakfast. Radu and his colleagues couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful with everything. I'm always sceptic all about the reviews but this place definitely lived up to them and more. Location is perfect and despite...

What a find! Very central location, convenient to the Tram #22 which we used if we didn't walk. The staff was incredibly friendly when we checked in, and truly wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Prague. The hotel is in an old historical building - we thought it was charming. I can imagine in the summer it...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
