We had a lovely break in this beautiful city and excellent hotel. The room was very comfortable with everything you need, e.g. facilities for making drinks, plenty of toiletries, fridge, television, etc. The breakfasts were superb catering for all tastes and everything you could wish for. The hotel is in an ideal situation being close to Wenceslas Square and not...

This excellent hotel is close to all amenities. The Town Square is only a block away. The rooms have high ceilings, sitting area, bathtub, king size beds which are very comfortable and flat screen TVs. A kettle and cups, tea, coffee and milk powder are provided in the room. There is also a small fridge. Bathrobes, slippers and lush white...

We stayed here for three nights in June. The location is great. It is a very quick walk to Wenceslas Square and not too far from Old Town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and provided us with maps and ideas for what to do and how to get around the city. The room was nice and the bathroom...

I stayed here on a recent 4 night stay in Prague. The building is very impressive and the staff were very helpful. They even helped me book my sight seeing tours. The room was a little of a let down though. It was quite small. There was also an oddly placed heater in the rest room which made life interesting....

The hotel is well located and within easy walking distance of Wenceslas Square. The staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. We did not take any meals in the hotel so can offer no comment on the restaurant. Our room was fine. Although the carpets could do with some attention. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with toiletries....

The hotel is located in the center, around 15 minutes walking to the Old town. From airport you can reach the hotel by bus 119 and then you change with green line A metro line and you exit Museum station and as you exit you have to go down and the third street on the left is where the hotel...

This hotel is write by Wenceslas Square, a very popular pedestrian strip. Just about every room is different, with nice restaurants and a courtyard. Sleep quality was good. A nice looking hotel with historical character and modern convenience.

The entrance & lounge of the hotel gives a pleasant feeling but the rooms don’t match up the expectations. The carpets appear to be so dirty and non-kempt that walking bare feet in the rooms is unthinkable. The location is also a long walk from the famed Wenceslas & the old town square of Prague and the street its located...

We stayed at the hotel in April for 1 week and would highly recommend it. The hotel is very modern, clean, luxuriously decorated and is in an excellent location for exploring the city. Our room was lovely. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast selection was fantastic and everything was fresh. Overall,...

This hotel is a no brainer, it's comfortable bed, nice shower, stunning view, location and price are difficult to match. Breakfast is not very good, but is a 5 mins walk from the very center of the city where you can find many restaurants. I stood on the room 709, it has a beautiful city sight. Enjoy Prague.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
