We stayed 4 nights in the Residence Bene on a family break. It was basic but very clean and welcoming. The staff on reception were courteous and very helpful, breakfast was continental with a small choice but more than enough. The hotel is positioned in a good place for walking into the city and we enjoyed our stay here.

The service was good in all respects - clean and spatial room, decent breakfast, very attentive and friendly staff. A small refrigerator in the room and electric teapot were additional contributors to the comfortable stay in Residence Bene. The perfect location should be also mentioned here - the hotel is close to the historic centre of Prague and there are countless...

This apartment is very well placed, close to the old town. Some quite good bars, restaurants and shops only minutes away walking. The hotel reception provides decent assistance and range of service to tourists looking for activities around town. There are very limited on site amenities however there are nearby supermarkets and the like if needed. Decent room size and...

Free wifi with room, decent breakfast, friendly staff. Great location, very close to Republic Square, short walk to Old Town Square. Many restaurants and pubs nearby. Only disadvantage was only one room key provided, and it was needed for electricity in the room. The staff discouraged ringing the bell to get into the hotel without the key. We stayed 6...

The landmark to reach this hotel is beer museum which is a restaurant next to this hotel. You will enjoy walking upto this place from the bus station through the down...

Standard spacious hotel where the receptionist is very friendly and extremely helpful. Within the city where everything is accessible - shops, tourist landmarks, etc. Reasonable choices for breakfast. Indeed a very nice stay.

Once again I have stayed at Bene during a visit to Prague, and once again it was great. We were a group staying at the hotel, and had great service from the helpful staff. Hotel is situated perfectly in the city, very centrally but not in a noisy neighbourhood.

It is a simple but beautiful, neat and organized hotel. Conveniently located for touring Prague on foot. It has a breakfast that without being excellent fulfills its function very well. The staff was cordial at any moment. Very good price-quality relationship.

Everything there was excellent. The service, the quality etc. The brealfast was ok, not too many choices, but totally fine. The walls in the rooms are not soundproof, can easuly hear next door neighbours. BUt if you are tired after 8 hours of exploring Prauge, that will definitely not bother you :D Aaaand the location is very excellent too, many...

Easy to get to. Less than 5 mins walk to old town. Parking is the cheapest I've seen in the city. Allow dogs without charge. Clean room. (I'm pretty picky). Standard room had an extra twin bed. And best of all, cheapest I've found in Prague and so close to everything!! Wonderful stay!!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
