We stayed in a private double room with en suite. It was clean and tidy when we arrived and what we expected. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting Gdansk as it is just outside the Old Town. The walls are thin but we weren't disturbed by noise. Breakfast was good, with a range...

Well. First - contact with the reception is really, really fantastic, and the people working there very friendly and elastic. The room was warm, nice and clean, enough for solo traveler. Minus is just one bathroom (toilet) on the floor. Even 4am it was occupied. The breakfast was wonderful, tasty and huuuuge! Krzysiek even made me a scrumbled eggs at...

So my considered review of the happy 7 hostel :) I am a solo traveler exploring Europe, I wanted a comfortable single room with ensuite for a few days in Gdañsk and wow that is most definitely what I got here :) On arrival I was given a lovely Polish welcome by reception and shown some highlights of Gdañsk not...

The hostel welcomes you with messy reception in the basement. The rooms only look quite good in the photos but not when you actually walk in. They aren't too clean and you can hear every little sound from the outside. The smell is unpleasant. The radiators are set to max temperature and there's no way to low it down -...

This was a great comfortable clean room in a great location. Less than a five minute walk into the centre of the main town and there's a great craft beer bar just across the road. We were there in the winter and the room was lovely and warm. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay and we...

We booked it for the weekend. First day in a room, second day at the appartment few steps away from the hotel. The room was quite small and had no tv, but for one day was just enough. Second day at the appartment was perfect. One bedroom with tv, little desk, kitchenette and nice bathroom. Everything stylish and cosy. Breakfast...

The hotel is located 2 minutes from the river side and there are a dozen of small bars, restaurants and cafeterias nearby. It's a very touristic area. When we arrived, the doorbell wasn't active and we had to wait for someone to open the frond door. Also the WiFi wasn't working and it was fixed during the afternoon of the...

Very good hostel! We stayed in private room which was very Nice, clean and big for a hostel. Private bathroom was Nice and new. One remark in the bathroom was that there was no mirror and the showerdrain needs to be fixed. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly! This hostel is the comfort of a private hotel room...

I was traveling solo and got a private room for 18€ per night, breakfast included. The hostel was situated maybe a ten minute walk from the main railway station and very close to the old town. The street it was at wasn't very appealing but it didn't bother me. The staff was very welcoming and it was a nice touch...

I booked to stay at the Happy Seven hostel after my planned trip to Budapest fell through and I decided to visit Gdansk instead. I picked to stay at this particular establishment as it was located a reasonable distance from the main sights, had favourable reviews and was quite cheap per night and included breakfast. Check-in was fairly quick and...

“Our room was situated next to a common bathroom which was very noisy (people puking in the night etc, slamming doors), ask for something a bit farther if you want a good rest. But keep in mind this is a hostel where you just have to you liev with these things.”
