The hotel is located in the harbor district near downtown, which might look a little shabby at first but it is a five minute walk to the sea promenade and all the activity in Gdynia. The hotel interior is OK, nothing spectacular. The breakfast buffet is quite nice!

Firstly the positives.
1) Staff very friendly and helpful.
2) Food is good (decent breakfast selection and very good evening meals).
3) Clean

Negatives
1) Beds EXTREMELY uncomfortable - had a twin room and had to use both mattresses to avoid feeling springs or wooden bed frame.
2) Advertised as having a mini bar which consisted of a switched off empty fridge. Two bottles of water were supplied each day.
3) A kettle was provided but no tea or coffee making supplies.
4) Only net curtains so no means to have a dark room for sleep.
5) Next to a building site which looks like it will be ongoing for some time. Woken by diggers at 6am on several occasions.
6) Not exactly in the nicest part of town and not easy to find as demonstrated by taxi driver not knowing how to get there.

I'm due to go back to Gdynia soon and will definitely NOT be staying here again.

We stayed for 5 nights, and our rooms were cleaned every day and were left spotless, reception has a very spacious seating area.
The bar area is light and airy with a well stocked bar and they also serve a lovely cup of tea served in very decrative porcelain cups and saucers with matching teapot.
They also have a large restaurant which serves a large buffet breakfast and a choice of menu for evening meal. We found the food was a very high standard and was always hot when served.
The sandy beach is a short walk away as is the centre of the city. There is a lot to see in this area of the hotel.

Room Tip: We would advice that you ask for a room to the rear of the hotel as this is quieter.

Reserved two rooms; a double and a twin. Turns out the rooms do not have permanent doubles. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, thin IKEA spring matresses or something that are past their prime. Old 4:3 flatscreen TV (at least 15 years old - so thats really a fire hazard), very limited power outages, holes in the wall and a bad odor from the bathroom. The maid came in to our room regardless of the do-not-disturb sign hanging on the door, not once but twice. The walls are thin so you can easily hear conversations...or worse...from neaeby rooms. I'm still traumatized over what I heard. The breakfast buffet is sub-par.

On the positive side the staff was very friendly and the hotel is located very close to the city centre. I will go for the Marriott next time.

Perfect situation for this Hotel, but it's the only good point...

Check in: Professional staff, but working there seems to be really boring.
Fast check in... Too fast as you have to pay your bill on arrival BEFORE to see the room????

Service: Average as you sometimes bother the hong staff in their conversations...

This hotel provides a few attraction like a Spa or a Bowling... But you're not here for that...

Breakfast: Average overrated not included Buffet. Disappointing.

Rooms: Looks good but its just a first impression as they're a few bad points...
The weakest point was the bath room. Plastic cups, 3 shower caps BUT NO SOAP!
Moisture and disconnected apparent joint gives an attractive exemple of what NOT to see...

Cleaning: Really, I still wonder if a maid came or not in our room...
Maybe she just came to put 3 bottles of water and went out...

Noisy industrial port will not let you sleep after 06AM and rusted ships is not a good view...
The only good thing there is the expresso's...

Hotel very nice. Rooms very comfortable. In the room I found: Mini Bar, safe, LCD television set, Cable TV, Internet access (wireless and LAN connection. In the bathroom and bathroom with bath or shower. There I also had a hairdryer.

By car to the hotel hassle-free. Convenient and secure parking. There were no problems. The disadvantage is quite poor breakfast. In the few days' stay may seem monotonous.

The hotel has very nice restaurants, tasty meals at affordable prices. Very well stocked bar.

Generally I am satisfied and recommend it!

The hotel is very good. Purely in the rooms and indoors, and the food is excellent. Rooms are spacious. Calmly. I recommend the Bowling Room. Restaurants. Unfortunately, the surroundings is currently under renovation.

Nice and clean hotel with private parking, which was essential for us. Location is good, within walking distance from city center and train station, but still at quite quiet and calm area. Sofabed was not the best bed for our teenager, but otherwise the room was great.

My husband entered a sports event in Gdynia. We had never been to Poland before so we're quite nervous about what to expect. We needn't have worried. We were really happy with the hotel and it was a short walk to the waterfront where the event was held, though is in a less developed part of the dock land area. The staff were very helpful and friendly and had excellent English compared to my two words of Polish. The room was fine, had everything you needed other than aircon, though it wasn't too hot when we were there. Maybe a fan would be a good idea at least. We ate at the bar restaurant twice which was good and breakfast was of a good standard. There is a supermarket within walking distance and lots of bars , cafes, restaurants and street good available on the waterfront, beach and city. We stayed for three nights but we're sorry we didn't stay longer. So sorry we are planning coming back next year!
