Hotel corporate rate for value package was good! Pretty clean! Good breakfast! Old and worn towels but clean and has good amenities! Reception and room service dinner are also cool and best is beach view when u walk outside
Well appointed hotel with quite a bit of parking available. There is also a spa that is reasonably priced - a massage was just what was needed. Short walk to the ocean and a lovely promenade to walk into the city (about 1km). There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel and others nearby. Breakfast is a buffet with a range of options.
Day 1 was greeted by kind receptionist who helped me organize my taxi from Gdynia główna. It was pleasant trip with nice taxi driver. I spoke to her again at reception got my card and room information. I enquired about my reservation as there was an error and it booked 2 people stay and I was alone during my visit. This was received with not much interest and a cold uncustomer friendly shoulder shrug to say "it was through booking. Com so you will not get a discount" we have your money goodluck kind of way. This was the start of my stay at Nadmorski. My room was under par and not what one would expect at a 4 star hotel. Boarder line 3 star in my world travelled opinion. My view was old house and back of hotel with some trees. Positives : *location *Bed was comfortable The room was cold in the night time despite using two blankets... On the 2nd night I requested the temperature be turned up and that I was given an extra blanket. In fairness they did these things immediately and I was pleased with that. Staff inside Strefa restaurant were great when available, caring and did the best they could to accommodate me when I visited. Gorgeous tatar and also a lovely hot Chocolate was served and I was delighted. Albeit slightly more expensive than it ought to have been. But that is the pretentiousness of the hotel.. Not the staff. Also the gym facility is quiet good but the machines need a servicing, oiled and perhaps a trainer on sight more often. The creaking squeak of machines was not ideal, and probably this gym needs more weights for squat rack. It's almost a solid gym, you can get alot done in it if you know what you are doing. Negative : the most ugly hostel looking chairs in the main lobby need to GO!!! *breakfast wasn't included and cost 50zl per day, I ended up going else where and had better service, better view and cheaper prices (33zl along the promenade) and not in a lamp lit conference room with no natural daylight or breeze of fresh air. *view from my room was back of hotel with another person's house no sea view what's soever and I paid 920zl for this? *the cleaning lady on the 2nd day did not speak English or Polish very well and my bed was not prepared as a result. I collected some towel and water instead from her cart. *no basen (Swimming pool) *I was directed on how to get to my room. I should have been shown to my room. For the first moment as, obviously I do not know this place and I got lost *My key to my room failed to work twice and on two occasions I had to report this and get attention of staff to access my room. It's not the worst situation but it shouldn't happen once let alone twice.. Especially in a "4 star hotel" The woman in the conference room was comfortable and somewhat good with working the room and being in control in polish language, but this did not translate the same in English. It was fake and forced and cringey. She also asked me 2 days in a row following me as if I was some criminal trying to get breakfast without paying... I have to eat and I am of course happy to pay, perhaps she should have contacted reception and delay with me there and not during my coffee pouring 1st thing in the morning. As a result of this 2nd day discomfort, I opted else where for my breakfast and found some quaint f. Minga restaurant which was so beautiful, chilled and reasonable priced with the breathtaking views I hoped for. Breakfast by the seaside, sun, waves competent friendly approachable staff and I visited the museum opposite this resturant afterwards. I think it's is worth to invest in the staff to work on English language skills because they are the main everyday connection to the customers. I can speak Polish and this was my advantage but I can forsee issues and problems with others whom do not speak Polish at all. The geniesis spa part of the hotel is what holds this place together. Without their professionalism, kind warm hearted customer care I would be voting this hotel with 2. 5 star. From the beginning one of the receptionist, Magda, was kind sweet and was perfectly informative about packages and protocol etc. Marta was my masuese for body scrub and sport masaage and was very polite and excellent at her job. I had Milena on the Wednesday for microdermabration and mask and body peel, this was a positive professional experience and I felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. Those girls know how to treat customers and spoke English quite well also. I can say it felt. Like I was visiting old friends who happend to work here also. In conclusion, Hotel nadmorski is indeed well over priced. At an absolute maximum a total Best it is a 3 star hotel... 2.5 in some areas. Hotelliers must recognize they may fool some of the people some of the time but will not fool all of the people all of the time. I am calling them up on this telling people the true opinion of my experience because it doesn't matter if I am paying from a euro country or not, customers are number one and how we feel should be their number one priority. the view outside the front door is breathtaking and wonderful but it's almost spoiled by the let down of how the hotel is ran. Alot of improvements are to made structurally, internationally and interpersonally for this hotel to be among 4 star hotel. My question is.... Who grated them this 4 star and in what year was it awarded. I feel its time for another inspection regarding the calibre of this supposed 4 star... Only for the staff who appear to do their their jobs quiet well, this ship would sink. The owner needs to invest in improvements as words spread fast.…
Stayed here for a small congress / exhibition. It says to have 4 stars, and that may well have been so but that must have been quite some time ago. The hotel is OK but I’d rank it a 3 star instead. The lobby bar is small but I enjoyed nice coffee and very correct staff. For linch / dinner one may try the restaurant on the beach side, Barracuda, which was quite good. Although my room was close to the elevator and the busy groundfloor It still was quit. Bit outdated colors and interior but still acceptable. Friendly staff.
We stayed at the Nadmorski for Gdynia 70.3. They managed to give us early check in, which was a relief, as we had come from Scotland, via an overnight in Gdansk with 2 bike boxes, tri kit and a suitcase. The reception staff were quick and professional. The house keeping staff and their supervisor were the best staff we met at the hotel. There was a problem with my room key and the supervisor helped me. We had bikes to build and had a few problems and house keeping lent us the tools we needed to get the bikes set up. The hotel restaurant is a bit of a let down, but the one time we got in, the food was very good. We had lunch there one day and it was great, good prices and service. But, we went back another day and they were busy, but we stood in the restaurant hoping to be seated or waiting to be told how long it should take for a table and we were ignored. We went back half an hour later and were ignored again. No one even came to say, we are sorry, it's really busy you won't get a table tonight. This would have been fine, but we were just ignored, which was rude and off putting. We went elsewhere after this and didn't return to the restaurant. This type of thing is letting an excellent hotel down and is the only reason I haven't given 5 stars. The hotel redeemed themselves by offering an early breakfast on the morning of the race and I really appreciate this. The breakfast was great and had something that would suit everyone. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. I would come back to the Nadmorski again. Gdynia is a gorgeous place and this hotel has a beautiful view of the sea from the bar where you can sit and relax, which is nice to do if you are in Gdynia to race. …
This hotel is fine for a business trip. Room big enough, bed comfortable, bathroom functional although shower head needed replacing. The heating controls didn't seem to work and despite being freezing outside the room was too warm. I couldn't turn the heat down. TV options not so good for English speaker, BBC advertised but not available. The room had a well stocked mini bar. Prices reasonable. Breakfast was OK but not special. Very limited hot options. I ate in the restaurant one night and it was very average with the most popular choices annoyingly off the menu. Might be better in season. Hotel overall perfectly OK for a business stay and good value for money.
My husband and I had the pleasure of spending one week at this lovely hotel located by the beach in Gdynia, Poland. Our business-class room was extremely comfortable, with good sound proofing. The Wi-fi was fast. Our booking included breakfast and dinner, with a buffet offering an appetizing choice of entrés and sides. At breakfast, there was even an assortment of freshly-pressed juices. The hotel lives up to it slogan "Stay positive", encouraging their clients to be active and to relax in so many ways. The hotel is located next to a lovely sandy beach. A municipal beach with lifeguards is just a short walk up the beach. The hotel has bicycles and beach equipment that you can borrow. The hotel also has its own taxi service, which enabled us to investigate Gdynia and the surrounding area of Poland. The Riviera Mall (with 250 shops) is a short taxi ride away. We booked the Beauty Week, which included professional physiotherapy, cosmetic and care treatments by the Genesis Institute. We both found the treatments to be very beneficial. The physical therapist was able to pinpoint a long-standing problem with my husband's knee and provide effect treatment for it. It was a remarkable week- the only sad thing was having to leave. I highly recommend a stay at this charming hotel, with treatments by the Genesis Institute.…
This was a return visit after a wedding a few years ago. Modern hotel in fabulous location - quiet but close to city and on the beach.Top class breakfasts and a neat spa. Great for couples, groups or families. Very helpful staff with langauge skills
Near to port. Beautiful rooms. Dinner was also good. Snacks was delicious. Dont forget to eat pierogi and zapiekanka. Try all polish beers. Zubrowka is the local vodka must be tried. Try cod fish in places near the port.
I visited that place with my mum, as her trip trough memories lane :), in July. We loved the location, almost at the end of promenade, so quieter. With little beach down the stairs :) and one more bigger and "wilder" few hundred meters away. Very picturesque. Rooms are spacious and comfy with good facilities, TV, fridge, tea making facilities. Breakfast, which was included in price, was really delicious and had variety of items which I think would make everybody happy. Staff very helpful . The only minus I would point were dirty carpets in corridors. Many stains which really should be addressed fast as they are unnecessarily spoiling the otherwise great all over picture. If you are a guest, you have a discount with SPA, which is in an adjoining building. I had a specialist massage for my crumped leg muscles, which were troubling me since two weeks and I was amazed with results. Very professional staff. Hotel can book you also a taxi, if you need to travel anywhere. Train station, which can take you to Sopot and Gdansk is in walking distance (nice walk trough parks mostly), about 20-25 minutes.…
