We booked a City Break of 3 days in Gdansk and visited Sopot on the train on the 2nd day for a couple of hours. Took a walk along the renowned Pier and seen the Sheraton from there. On walking around the town, we loved it and decided after 3 nights in the lovely Gdansk, we cancelled our flight home and booked 3 nights at the Sheraton (booked a hotel airport for last night as had a 4.30am wake up for flight).

On arrival it was obvious why this was rated 5 stars! Reception area was immaculate in every sense, sanitising stations everywhere and staff all wearing masks. We arrived early and due to the hotel being at capacity, there were no rooms available - totally understandable. Left our luggage in the hotel and went for a walk until the allocated check in time, which was seamless.

The room was very big, on the 4th floor (room 418), with partial sea view (which was lovely!), rooms were very spacious with everything you need (hairdryers still available unlike some chains have taken them out during Covid). Beds and pillows soooo comfortable and blackout curtains that do as they should :-). Bathroom big and excellent quality of everything.

Social distancing was adhered to, the 2nd morning we couldn't get in the main restaurant for breakfast so were taken to the Club Lounge, it didn't have as many options as Main restaurant but preferred this option to being sat close to people.

We didn't have Dinner in the hotel but did have a couple of drinks in the hotel bar, staff were very polite and advised us on wines when our favourite was not available.

The Private Beach area is lovely, again social distancing was adhered to here, the guys giving out the towels (sorry I didnt get their names) were very good in making sure it was retained. The bar on the private beach was way less expensive to other places we have been (champagne was around £65 which I think is very reasonable at a hotel of this standard, beers were around £4.50 a pint, cocktails £7. We were always at the beach for around 9am and getting a sunlounger was never a problem, it did get busy later in the day. The only downside to the beach was the toilets, having to pay 3PLN wasnt an issue, it was the quality of them, they didn't smell pleasant, didn't look clean and always had water of some sorts all over the floor, they are portacabin type. We chose to walk back to the hotel when we needed to use the toilet. The beach itself is lovely though, as is the sea.

All in all, we were astounded at how beautiful Poland was and the Sheraton made it that bit more special. We are telling everyone they must visit and we for sure will be back.

Thank you all at the hotel for making our stay so special

This hotel is top notch in every dimension: all furnishing, decorations are first class, the feel is very upscale and everything is very nicely updated and very functional. The service is attentive without being imposing, the location is impossible to beat with the view of molo and the most central location in Sopot. Buffet breakfast is very good quality with all fresh dishes and and a very nice variety (again compared to other European hotels, it is an amazing variety). The lounge is slightly remote (one has to go to the second floor, walk across, and take elevator) but it is run wonderfully with nice appetizers and nice view of activities outside.

A minor challenge is parking: the covered parking runs sometimes of spots, but there is enough of cheap metered parking between hotel and the main street.

Sopot is a small quaint / charming town, and this hotel may be a wonderful addition to the stay.

We are spending 50+ nights a year in hotels and we are spoiled. We like most of Asian hotels, and we know that European ones tend to be somewhat more modest. This hotel is on top of European hotels by any measure.

Rooms were nice, hotel was clean and observing all COVID-related requirements.

One note, we booked Club Level room in order to help minimize contact with other guests (lounge, breakfast). However, the Club Lounge was closed, so we ended up being told that breakfast and drinks could be taken in the main restaurant. Not a deal breaker, but would have been nice to know beforehand.

Another note- Club Level is on the 1st floor. If you want a better view, get a 4th or 5th floor room instead.

I was staying a number of times in this great hotel. It has a very unique location in this polish Resort city Sopot . Just on the beach front and attached to the city’s main sea-attraction and is also in the center of town . The former legendary GM of this hotel Artur Zawadzki has been replaced by a another excellent GM, a beautiful and elegant lady Catalina Susan which I had pleasure to meet . She came to Poland after running successfully the prestigious 5 star Marriott hotel in Yerevan, bringing new ideas and fresh style.
The room I was staying has classic design with excellent king size bed, high quality bedding, large
bathroom with upscale
amenities.
All the rooms and common areas are
disinfected and are very clean. The hotel has many disinfection stations throughout the entire hotel. All staff keeps masks and and hygiene is kept on high alert . The Service here is
excellent on every level .
A special compliment to Jakub Kuligowski the profesional front office manager that arranged for me
the perfect accommodation. He is very kind and speaking fluent English like most of the staff .
The breakfast in the hotel is
Excellent .
. They have good
quality choices including fresh
detox juices and tasty local products. The waiters staff are very effective and polite.
The hotel surrounding has many Restaurants, cafes and shops worth visiting.
The hotel is always a buzzing place especially in the chic bar/cafe lobby area.
I love the spa, the fitness. I love this hotel ambiance and I fully recommend this hotel as
excellent choice for business or leisure in this part of Poland .

To summarise my feelings after the stay, I can say you that whenever you think about taking just a deep, well deserved rest, and you do not have time to go half a globe far - this is your place.
The hotel is located in resort part of TriCity with direct access to white and sandy beach, famous Molo and plenty of places to eat. Breakfast area offered excellent selection of choices inclusive live kitchen. Rooms were large and well organized. Spa area offered a lot of choices despite maybe not very large pool.
But what I liked the most, except from absolutely fantastic see view, was hospitality and service oriented culture of all hotel staff. This is something that is often lacking in many other 5-star hotels I was staying.
I really liked the stay and relax a lot All in all, I can fully recommend Sheraton Sopot either for family, single or couple stay.

Check in was nice. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. However, our room is next to the elevator making it super loud and difficult to even hear the T.V. at times. The walls are thin and doors slam loudly at various times throughout the day making it difficult to take a nap. What really frustrated us more was our keys not working three days in a row and getting them changed three different times. The hotel’s outdoor service located on the beach was quite disappointing. No one came to us in over 25 minutes. The area was NOT busy. This was around 4 pm. The following day, I went to the beach bar for a seltzer to find four folks behind the bar talking and still they seemed too busy to be bothered.

I was taken a back when I was speaking in Polish to spa and bar staff for them only to respond back in English and not in Polish. I speak and understand Polish quite well. This made me feel uncomfortable. I’m proud to be Polish and speak my native tongue. Having written some of our experiences…. I strongly feel this is not a true 5-star hotel!!! Don’t let anyone fool you. Pictures look good on paper. There are some nice hotels in Sopot. You just need to take time in choosing what you are looking for and where you want to stay. Thank goodness we check out tomorrow. After three nights here, I am tired and spent. I am looking forward to going home and to sleep in my own bed in quiet mode. I will never stay at this hotel again!

We had a room with the sea view and two French windows proving the plenty of light. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable with two soft and two firm pillows. Overall , the hotel is very nicely decorated, and it gives that elevated feeling. The breakfast provided a variety to every taste, and the staff was running the restaurant seamlessly to keep the buffet full and the tables clean. When in Sopot, i will only stay in Sheraton.

We've got a room at the fourth floor with sea view. The room was big, clean and nice furnished. But the best of all – the view was really breathtaking. We had club access, where drinks and snacks and even warm food in the evening (from 6 p.m.) is available. The Spa area has a nice pool (not large but not overcrowded as well), sauna, steam room and whirlpool. The hotel has direct access to the large sandy beach. Delitious food at the restaurant Polskie Smaki I'll describe in a separate review.

Great hotel, close to the beach and the Sopot famous molo pier. Rooms are large and clean with a nice work desk. Reception is professional but could be more flexible on a dark winter day with upgrades.

My husband and I stayed at Sheraton Sopot for 3 nights in August, during the famous Top of the Top festival in Opera Leśna.

The hotel is situated 30mins by taxi from Gdańsk airport, next to famous Sopot molo.

During the festival, it is the best place to stay, with most of the tv crew and stars staying at the hotel and you can bump into them during breakfast.

Being Bonvoy Platinum, we got upgraded to a Club room with a beautiful sea view and given access to the Club Lounge.

Breakfast is served every morning in a ground floor restaurant, great selection of cook to order dishes, fruit, breads and cereals.

Club lounge serves hot buffet from 6pm onwards. It includes 2 hot dishes every evening (one Polish and one international) alongside cold buffet of ham, cheeses, fruit and sweets. Free wine (red, white and sparkling) as well as beer is also included.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay but marked it 4/5 due to low quality of service, it was slow and unfriendly throughout.
