Located in a quiet street 50m from Grodzka st and midway between the market square and the Wawel - no better location for touring the old city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room - spacious, clean and comfortable. Note - air-conditioning keeps working when you are out of the room - so important in hot summer! WiFi - strong and...

I stayed with my wife for 3 nights in the Wawel Hotel Krakow. Room & Reception were fantastic. The staff pre booked all my trips which made the trip hassles free. We arrived early and still no issue with giving us a room and we left late so the reception looked after our cases. It service at its best! Well...

We stayed 2 nights in hotel Wawel on a short trip from Czech Republic where we are on holidays. We just wanted to seeing the old city and didn't had much time. Therefore we decided to rent a room in a hotel close to the central square. An fine choice to our concerns. Surrounded by nice restaurants (don't forget to...

Location was excellent, two blocks from main square on side street and close to Wawel castle and Planty. Staff was great. breakfasts were served by adjoining restaurant and were superb. Air conditioning was welcome since it was unusually hot when we were there in July. Elevator only went to third floor; ask not to be on fourth floor if it...

Stayed here 3 nights, spacious clean room. Had lift but not to all floors, so was still quite a walk with our suitcases & up more stairs. Staff friendly & helpful, nice breakfast. Great location to explore old town, minutes from good restaurants & nearby attractions.

Location, location, location. We were a party of 2 mature couples. 5-10 minutes from the main square. Great customer service, nice selection for breakfast Additional paid parking is about a 10 minute walk. Lift only goes to the 2nd floor. Big rooms and excellent Wi-Fi.

Hotel Wawel is populated by a front desk staff that is young and English fluent. They are helpful and knowledgeable about central Krakow, including with restaurants (pointed us to a great one on the corner rather than the mediocre one we were contemplating), clothes washing, jogging, and so on. Here are some of the ins and outs. If you arrive...

Visited Krakow in June for 4 days for a wedding. This hotel is situated just minutes from the main square and in a very quiet area. The rooms were all recently refurbished with wonderful bathrooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was served in the tiny downstairs dining room and was substantial with a choice of hot and cold foods, fruit ,...

We stayed at the Wawel for 4 nights in June/July and found it to be in a great location within a short walk of the main square and the castle. Our room on the second floor was a good size, clean and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and our luggage was stored for us on departure day so...

First, I will say that Hotel Wawel would have received a '5' rating from me if it wasn't for the dark bathroom. It is just too dim to be able to apply make-up correctly and not coming out looking like a clown. Can't be a women designing the bathrooms!!! Other than that, we loved staying here. The staff are '10'...
