Our daughter surprised us with a trip to krakow as an Xmas present and booked us into this hotel. It’s absolutely lovely, quaint & full of charm. We stayed in room 30 on the 2nd floor which overlooked the park. It had snowed prior to our arrival & the park which was lit at night

Myself and my partner stayed here from the 13th to 17th of December and were not disappointed. The hotel has an old style and charm, it’s warm and very vintage - right up my street! During our stay I couldn’t fault the reception staff, they were extremely helpful at midnight

There is a shopping center opposite to the hotel the train station is under the shopping center. But it is quite a distance from Auschwitz train station to the camp site, I think it is preferable to go with a tour group. The hotel can make the arrangement or you can go to the tour booking center located on the right side of the park which is opposite to the right hand side of the hotel.

No air conditioning that I could see and yes to hairdryers. That said, the room I was in did have windows that fully opened which helped.

does this hotel have parking
There is a small 'secure' car park just around the corner towards the main station and shopping precint, but i think it is independent of the hotel. The Polonia front desk speak English so you could contact them directly. The hotel is in a good location, breakfasts are good (they do replenish the platters - just ask if required) but the rooms although clean, could do with a face lift. Ed

The bar is in the dining room, the drinks are very reasonable, the wine was good, there was draft beer, the flavoured vodka was cheap and really good, my husband can vouch for that. there are bars all around the hotel, some are quite dear and some are really cheap. just through the park opposite and on the way to the square there are plenty of bars and eating places. Obviously it's dearer to eat and drink on the square.
