i booked this hotel via booking .com, the hotel takes money via your credit card, for my stay it was 1284z which works out at £266, but on my credit card payment i was charged £281.63, this is a over payment of £16.
Well this is certainly a hotel with character from the spiral staircase to the ‘old school’ lift (elevator) the food is delicious and I particularly liked the pancakes and Nutella at breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the kettle, tea and coffee are...More
Rooms were large and comfortable. Bathrooms large and modern. Staff appear a little uninterested, but usually respond well to queries/requests. Bar is part of the restaurant, and can close early in the evening. Breakfast typically continental with good choices and of good quality. Evening meal...More

The bar is in the dining room, the drinks are very reasonable, the wine was good, there was draft beer, the flavoured vodka was cheap and really good, my husband can vouch for that. there are bars all around the hotel, some are quite dear and some are really cheap. just through the park opposite and on the way to the square there are plenty of bars and eating places. Obviously it's dearer to eat and drink on the square.
