The Trecius guesthouse near the town square is being renovated so we stayed at the owner's unit about 5 minutes trolley ride from the park near the town square. When we drove up to the dark Communist style dark building with dingy hallway, my heart dropped... but when the owner opened the door of the unit, I think I heard...

Guesthouse Trecius was warm, economical, and convenient plus the breakfasts were efficient and welll worth the small price. The hosts were knowledgeable about area sights as well. The Trecius team also provided us with free Internet. The desk is not staffed throughout the day and night, so arrangements have to be made to meet the hosts ahead of time when...

If you are looking for traditional Polish, look no more. Trecius Guest House is located to everything. Town Center, food shops, clothing, jewelry shops, etc. The room was very clean and quiet. I slept like a log. The morning choice of breakfast was good and energizing. The staff was very nice and professional. The food was very good. There are...

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights Oct.26-29, 2011 It was a very good deal as beds were very comfortable, the bathroom modern, the room was huge though the buidling was a very old one and the furnishings a bit dated. We had a room two flights up which was only a problem if you had a lot...

We found this little gem online and what a great place. Centrally located and Piotr the manager most helpful and very friendly with advice, directions and suggestions. He recommended the restaurant Jarema and we were so impressed we ate there both nights we were in Krakow. Our room had the most amazing exposed brickwork and sandstone arches dating back a...

A friend and I stayed at Trecius for four days in September, 2011 and we don't think we could have found a better deal. The room was spartan but large with a bathroom that was cute, functional, and spotless. It's just a 2 minute walk from the main square. The staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English. If you're...

Like other reviewers, I found the outstanding staff to be friendly and extremely helpful. I stayed in room 5, the "small double," which was more than adequate for me as a solo traveller. In fact, it would have been fine for me and my usual travelling companion as well, since we're quite accustomed to smallish budget rooms. The continental breakfast...

My husband and I stayed at the Trecius in December of 2010 and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect as it is only a block or two away from the center. Almost everything you want to see in Krakow is within walking distance of Trecius. The room we stayed in was large and the bed comfortable. The staff are...

We stayed in Trecius for two weekday nights in September. The room and bathroom were clean and large, beds were comfortable. Very secure entrance, pretty secure and good free wireless internet connection, friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect - just couple of blocks from the main square, at the corner of Florianska Street. There is some street noise, mostly...

I stayed in Trecius for 4 nights in September. The location, service and help - fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It was so nice to be so close to Market Square so I could meet with friends after so many years living abroad. Even if it was a little bit noisy did not bother as this is a...
