The Castle Inn's location cannot be beat - it is right on the square in OldTown. Keep in mind that the square is not quiet - there is going to be music, nightlife, (and for some curious reason opera singing during our stay) until at...More

I booked a taxi via the hotel. The driver was waiting at the arranged position in the terminal. The hotel also booked a taxi back to the airport. It was not expensive and was reliable.

On what floor are there available rooms? I am led to believe reception is one flight of stairs up from a ground entrance that itself is up three steps from the square entrance. Secondly how steep are the stairs? Do the stairs have hand rails. I use a cane and travel with two 35lb roll-on suitcases--should I forget you? /s/ duncan

The entrance up from the square does have steps & once inside there are fairly wide stairs leading up to reception on the first floor. We had a room very close to reception but we did not see a lift. If you can possibly negotiate the stairs I am sure you will enjoy this quirky hotel. I am sure somebody on reception would help you up with your cases, good luck.
