Certificate of Excellence
The camp Zlatorog Bohinj lies mostly in the shade of trees in the village Ukanc, on the shores of the lake. As it is located in the Triglav National Park it offers everything for a pleasant and peaceful stay in harmony with nature and for many activities. Guests can use the natural swimming pool and the lake Bohinj with the river Bohinjska Bistrica is very popular among anglers, kayakers and canoeing driver. The camp is an excellent starting point to visit natural sights - waterfall Savica, basins Mostnica, the nearby peaks, the valleys of the seven Triglav lakes and the highest mountain Triglav (three-head) (2864 m). The camping area is about 5 hectares and is divided into three zones.

Very nice camping, direct to the lake and the tents are almost all in the shadow. Enough showers, toilets and facilities, everything was very clean. The tap water is drinkable, what is a plus point. You can rent kayaks, canus, stand paddels and bikes at...More

For me it was the first camping experience ever. I must admit I was reluctant at first to go there since in the past I was more likely to go to 5 star resorts than to a camping. When we arrived at 2PM we were...More

I really like the stay at this campsite. The camping is located straight at the lake; if you come early and you are lucky, you might even pick a spot at the beach. They have no "pitches". They have 3 zones and within these zones...More

It's a medium size campsite, there are no pitches you just pick a spot in one of the zones and that's it. We were with a tent and since we wanted to be next to our car we picked a spot next to the parking...More

Go at 8 AM and you are sure to have a spot...arrive later and all free spots are taken. No one can make any reservations so arriving at 8AM is the best chance you have! Worst case scenario I've heared camp Danica is not too... More
