The camp Zlatorog Bohinj lies mostly in the shade of trees in the village Ukanc, on the shores of the lake. As it is located in the Triglav National Park it offers everything for a pleasant and peaceful stay in harmony with nature and for many activities. Guests can use the natural swimming pool and the lake Bohinj with the river Bohinjska Bistrica is very popular among anglers, kayakers and canoeing driver. The camp is an excellent starting point to visit natural sights - waterfall Savica, basins Mostnica, the nearby peaks, the valleys of the seven Triglav lakes and the highest mountain Triglav (three-head) (2864 m). The camping area is about 5 hectares and is divided into three zones.

It's a medium size campsite, there are no pitches you just pick a spot in one of the zones and that's it. We were with a tent and since we wanted to be next to our car we picked a spot next to the parking...More

Go at 8 AM and you are sure to have a spot...arrive later and all free spots are taken. No one can make any reservations so arriving at 8AM is the best chance you have! Worst case scenario I've heared camp Danica is not too bad either and is just a couple of kilometers/miles away. But go at 8 AM and you'll be fine!
