We stayed here during a trip around Eastern Europe. The location was great about 10 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins from the main square. The hostel itself was up 2 long flights of stairs with no lift which was a bit of a pain. Our room was for two people and we had our own bathroom....

The worst hostel I've ever stayed at. Rude staff, dirty, smelly room, bathroom in terrible condition. All they are interested in is money! They charge for everything, and they even charged my credit card before I even got there! There are other options in town, Alibi in general are greedy and rude!

Good things: Nothing. Maybe the location: it's near the centre, but the doorway is horrible (So dirty, dark and gloomy) that would make you want to stay further away from there. Bad staff, bad installation, absolutely awfull price. Bad things: All. That place is not what you see in the pictures. You enter a nice place, where you have to...

In Sept. 2011, our "unlucky" experience here combined with the terrible service from the misleading owners of this establishment combined to make this one of my worst hostel/hotel experiences. We showed up at the hostel around 2pm, and the person working the desk was waiting to check us in so that she could go else where. They had overbooked their...

Stayed at the Alibi M14 Hostel last week with a group of 7 friends. From the start of our stay they could have been more helpful. Even before the holiday, via e-mail, they'd assisted in sorting out transfers and a trip to Lake Bled. We were picked up at the airport by Gorazd (manager/owner) who gave us a short tour...

My partner and I booked 2 nights (non consecutively) at Alibi M14 Hostel. I was originally thinking about the old prison "party" hostel a few blocks away, but I wanted to be closer to the city center, plus the price was better. The hostel itself is on a main street that is a very short walk to the town center....

Stayed here with a group of friends. On first impressions you think the place isn't too bad, it is a hostel after all but give it time and the problems start to show through. The main issue is the room keys (or lack of them). You only get 1 key for a 4 person room and as the front desk...

+ location - near train/bus station and the centre. It was easy to find. The room with ensuite bathroom was also clean. The wifi also worked. - There is no lift, it wouldn't be a problem for us but we had heavy suitcases and it was horrible to go up to the 2nd floor. We were forced to pay 60...

The hostel is situated within a residential block. They seem to have a running feud with the neighbours. Any noise what so ever is met with complaints. I was fined 100 euros and forced to pay a 200 euro deposit after apparently walking up the stairs loudly and knocking on the door. The Hostel owner refused to speak to us...

We stayed here for a couple nights in a private room with a bathroom. It was very nice- the room was bigger than we expected, and the location couldn't be beat! Having a shared kitchen was nice, as well as the computers so we could check our e-mail. The girl at the reception desk was nice and helpful as well....
