Stunning hotel in the heart of the old town. Pretty reception area with welcoming staff. We stayed in a very well decorated, comfortable, warm bedroom across the courtyard. I have nothing negative to say about our stay. The town is as wonderful as the hotel. Highly recommended especially at Christmas time.

Although this hotel is classed as a 4* I would say our room (16) was only a 3* broken ceiling light fitting a wallpaper peeling off in places, but do not let this put you off, when entering this hotel you feel you are stepping back in time to a bygone era but all in a good way. The staff... More

Nice little gem in the old town. Helpful staff and a free welcome drink on arrival! Very convenient for hanging around the old town. If you have a car, be aware you can't reach the hotel directly and need to park outside the pedestrian area. There is one car parking bay close to the hotel for 15euro a day. If... More

We recently travelled to Ljubljana, Slovenia and stayed at The Allegro Hotel in a classic room number 1. The room was of a good size and very comfortable with easy access from the internal courtyard the en suite shower room was perfectly serviceable and the TV was good quality although there was nothing to watch, only 1 channel that showed... I usually don't write reviews however I felt it was worth writing one due to the customer service we received. We stayed this past weekend for a wedding and the hotel was in a great location. Very close to a lot of attractions and just 2 blocks from the train station making it easy to get to and from the... More

This little hotel is situated perfectly in the center of Ljubljana. Only a few minutes walk to the river, the Castle and all the shopping. The staff was absolutely lovely and very helpful. We stayed in room number 1, which was a nice room, situated with it's entrance in the court yard. The room has everything we needed, the only... More

After extensive review reading on TripAdvisor we selected Allegro Hotel and booked two rooms for our family of adult travellers a superior double and twin. The location is fabulous in old Ljubljana, streets here are closed to cars after 10am. We arrived for a medieval fair outside which was entertaining and added a great atmosphere. You can walk up to... More

This nice boutique hotel is in the heart of the old part of Ljubljana and easily accessible to everything in this most charming city. The hotel clerks we dealt with - Elliott and Luka -were very helpful and friendly.

This hotel located in the old town on the street with the limited access according to Hotels website. However the street is close to all the traffic for 20 hours out of 24. You have to carry your luggage for at least 200 meters. Building is very old with no elevators. Stairs and narrow. Rooms are very small and keep... More

We walked in without having reservation and we were offered very nice air conditioned room at a reasonable price. The location was spot on for local pubs and sightseeings. We would rate 5/5 but breakfast was slightly below our expectations. Receptionists were very welcoming, friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
