Stunning hotel in the heart of the old town.
Pretty reception area with welcoming staff. We stayed in a very well decorated, comfortable, warm bedroom across the courtyard. I have nothing negative to say about our stay. The town is as wonderful as the hotel....More
Although this hotel is classed as a 4* I would say our room (16) was only a 3* broken ceiling light fitting a wallpaper peeling off in places, but do not let this put you off, when entering this hotel you feel you are stepping...More
Nice little gem in the old town. Helpful staff and a free welcome drink on arrival! Very convenient for hanging around the old town. If you have a car, be aware you can't reach the hotel directly and need to park outside the pedestrian area....More

The hotel does not provide parking. We rented a car and stayed at the Allegro in September when the weather was nice. There is a parking lot about three blocks after you cross the river (at the corner of Zoisova cesta and Emonska cesta) which always had space for us and felt safe. Ljubljana, in general, feels quite safe so I would not hesitate to stay at the Allegro and park where we did.
