Delightful double room overlooking the castle with the best breakfasts that we have ever had at any hotel. The city itself is within easy walking distance as are all the key restaurants and sights. We also use this hotel to book trips with Roundabout Travel and were particularly impressed with these tours and the ease at which Cubo ensured they...

I ve stayed at hotel cubo for 6 nights and I have to say it is a great hotel, the staff is super friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good, the room was spacious, as well as the bathroom. In the room there is a complementary minibar with water, juices, refreshments that is replaced everyday. There is also a kettle...

The rooms were very quiet and had big bright windows (that could easily be made dark during the night or day). The mini bar was free and re-stocked daily. The room was big and modern and clean, with toilet separate from the modern shower and sinks. Breakfast was big and awesome! So many delicious options to choose from on the...

I stayed for four nights in April 2017 and enjoyed my stay immensely at Hotel Cubo in Ljubljana. It was incredible in every way; one of the best hotel stays I have had in the 41 countries I have traveled to. From the time of reservation, to the time of check out I was impressed by the staff, hospitality, hotel...

We had planned a trip to the Veneto region of Italy and came across a suggestion that Slovenia was a beautiful country and a great side trip from Venice. We created a quick itinerary based out of Ljubljana and Piran before our Italy trip. What an awesome surprise we had in the Slovenian capital. Remarkable city and people. The staff...

We have just spent 4 nights at this fabulous hotel. It is absolutely perfect and one of the nicest hotels we have ever used on our (many, many) city breaks. Location is excellent - all main sights within 5-10 min walk. It is quiet, despite facing onto quite a busy road. The double glazing will ensure a perfect night's sleep....

Best breakfast I've had in Europe-fresh bread, eggs, fresh pastries and croissants, homemade preserves, hams, cheese, coffee and juices, etc........ 4 star hotel; 5 star service; staff very friendly, helpful, accommodating Rooms clean,...

We chose this hotel based on TA reviews and stayed here for 1 night in August. The location is great - 5 min walk to the Old Town and on a quiet street. There are a few parking spots around the hotel as well as a dedicated parking lot across the street. Parking costs 10 EUR per day and was...

Perhaps it was our Expedia-booked room, which overlooked derelict apartments and a parking lot, that left us feeling less-than-inspired by our stay. But perhaps not. A top-rated hotel, anywhere, should minimally provide in each double room two places to sit (other than the bed); two pegs in the bathroom upon which to hang robes or towels; and two water glasses....

From the moment we contacted Hotel Cubo, the staff has been friendly, efficient, and prepared to help us in every way. They arranged tours, made reservations and helped us with transportation. Our room was beautiful, clean, stylish and comfortable. The location is perfect, and we easily walked from our hotel right into Old Town. We would not hesitate to whole...
