I stayed in Casa del Sal for a couple of days in August. I traveled with my mum and two young sons. I picked the place because I do not like busy resorts and big hotels and the choice was perfect. We stayed in a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen and direct access to the beautiful garden... More

Piran, as a tourist city, can be very busy and crowded. Staying just a few km away, in a charming house like Casa del Sal, would be the best option. With amazing sightseeing, in front of the Natural Park Salins, they offer a very nice rooms with and incredible breakfast buffet. The garden and terraces ara nice place to chill... More

We chose this lovely farm by chance and it proved to be an excellent choice. The owners are very friendly people, our room had an awesome view of the salines with amazing sunsets, and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed. It is located right by the Parenzana bike/hike trail. The only downside is the adjacent busy main road to the... More

We spent one weekend in this lovely hotel with gorgeous view at salinas. Hotel's location is perfect for daily trips with bike, because you have direct access to Parenzana across the street, which takes you from Poreč to Trieste. Owner and staff is really kind and they actually live there, so the place is so cosy and friendly and relaxing.... More

Excellent rooms, very friendly staff, unseen high quality in Slovenia, and very rural and rustic environment, close to Portoroz. When you sit outside for breakfast or evening dinner (optional if you alert the owner in advance), you are actually sitting under the vineyard ranks and with a nice view on the nearby salt fields. Top pick!

We decided to stay here because we wanted a good location for doing lots of day-tripping. We were there for almost a week and traveled all over Istria, over to the famous caves of Slovenia, up the coastline north of Piran and into Piran for dinner and browsing around many times. I must say that this is definitely more like... More

We recently spent a night at Casa del Sal and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house itself is lovely and beautifully decorated. We were served a fantastic beautifully presented breakfast - including several types of homemade jam, fresh fruit, homemade cherry cake as well as the usual ham and, cheese - out on the terrace, with a great view of... We were only there for 1 night but left wishing it could have been longer. We only came across it by chance on Google and couldn’t find any reviews so decided to take a punt and go for it... and couldn't have been more impressed. It’s located between Portoroz and the Croatian border and looks out over the Salt Pans... More
