So much to like about this hotel, staff were good, rooms spacious, balconies on rooms. Location is excellent. Furniture old world, but suits the building very well. My issue is that this could be a great boutique hotel, but the decorations, bedding, flooring and bathrooms miss the mark.

Our group of 5 seniors rented 3 rooms for one night in April 2016. The hotel reminded us of elegant hotels of the past. It is pink with white balconies, a fountain and gardens out front, with tall trees and it is right across the street from the Adriatic Sea. We all had rooms facing the sea. The rooms and...

We stayed here for 2 nights during a friend's wedding in Portoroz. There weren't many alternatives to stay in this coastal town and we didn't want to splurge on the nearby Kempinski so decided to give Hotel Marko a try. The rooms and bathroom were sized well, very clean and had free wifi. Marko is also located close to the...

Average hotel. Clean very friendly staff but all very outdated. Breakfast is ok but quality very average. Typical what you find in former Eastern Europe countries. But you feel very welcome here. Rooms are sober and beds have single blankets... Overall value for money more than good.

I spent two days here running a workshop. The hotel is small, which is for me an advantage. Lunches were good, staff is flexible, friendly and helpful. Ask for a room with a sea view. The room was not the largest I had, but it felt cozy and I had a good sleep.

I was kind of disapointed by the hotel since I heard so much nice things. The rooms are clean, but very basic, naked white walls.... with exception of great view (if you have sea-view room, ofcourse). Tiles on the floor are annoying when you have suitcase on wheels because they make a lot of noise. And they look even worse.......

In the center of the picturesque Portorož, there is a nice and very pleasant hotel. Since I don't like big hotels where one loses his personality, this hotel is just the right stuff. Good feeling entering the breakfast room, just say goodmorning, and people will reply to you. In front of the building, there is a nice park and a...

Great hotel exceeding my expectations! It looked like freshly renovated. Rooms are spacious so is the bathroom. Breakfast was superb! Parking garage is spacious with advantage of being connected directly to the hotel. Wifi worked perfect. It is good value deal! Will definately revisit it.

Well located, nice and helpful staff, but not really 4*, more like 3+. We stayed overnight with kids on the way to Croatia and enjoyed it, though there is nothing to do if you expect more than just bed and breakfast.

This is a really nice, absolutely immaculate and friendly hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated with woorden floors and wooden furniture which gives it a bit of a classic look. They clean the rooms every day and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breackfast is extensive with many options and it has a very relaxed garden where you can relax....
