I've been to many hotels and countries in my life. .. never have I experienced being so unwelcomed. When I got there the hotel clerk guy was so nasty. He didn't say hello back to me and had such an awful attitude. He informed me that the room I booked two months in advance wasn't available and that now I...

The staff was friendly and helpful even when the guest (me) was exhausted by riding with the bike through a big city. I chose the hotel because of WiFi and safe parking (for my trike with big trailer). Unless the parking lot was camera monitored it was just beside the big main road. That is in my opinion not really...

12 hour stop over in Budapest - everything I needed and a great price. 15 minutes from the airport. Clean and quiet. Great little pizza shop across the road and quiet pub next to that. But be sure to have cash on hand as for the pizza.

Had never had a room like this before, but we made the most of it as we usually do. Our marks are given for a good night's sleep. This was achieved easily, although a couple of times during both night's, the neighbor's dog did it's job of warding off whoever got too close. we got back to sleep with no...

I spent one night here. On arrival found out there were no safes in the room and reception do not offer a safety deposit service. Not major but I usually avail myself of the service for security reasons. The location leaves a little to be desired. here is a bar and snack restaurant opposite but nothing else. there was however...

Is a budget accommodation but good for a "sleep and go". Clean room but try to avoid the front view rooms because you can be disturbed by the traffic.AC available for extra free but we didn't need it. Indeed is very far from from the center but we were by car so we didn't care. If you are not travelling...

For many reasons. The staff is rude, we had difficulty communicating with them (mainly language) and they were not helpful. It s tooo far from Budapest centre. Far away from everything, the only advantage it has it s close to the airport. We had to take the bus then the metro station for 20 min to b able to get...

No cleaning of rooms during 5 nights stay, horrible beds, these home made things are hard like hell. Pretty good public communications to city center from the hotel and a good chance to learn how life is in Budapest for citizens outside the city center.

If you're looking for a very inexpensive hotel offering en-suite rooms with the option of air-conditioning (available for an additional fee), Hotel Timon might be for you. But be warned that this hotel's location is quite inconvenient if you're hoping to commute to central Budapest using public transportation. Expect to spend at least 45 minutes on a tram and on...
