The location was absolutely ideal and managed to be right in the middle of town without too much noise disturbance. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean if a bit small, to be honest I would have given it 4 stars were it not for the bizarre removal of our mugs and glasses after the room was cleaned. Since...

We stayed for four nights & would definitely stay again. You could walk straight past the entrance but don't let it put you off (it's next to/above the 'tiger' store). The room was modern and clean and included a bath. Cleaners came everyday & replaced the towels etc. The breakfast was small but adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful....

The best thing about the hotel is the location. Right on the Vati Utca, handy for everything. The staff were lovely and helped the best they could. We were given a kettle and mugs on request when we checked in which was great. Unfortunately, every day, the cleaning staff room away the dirty mugs and glasses from the room and...

Don't be put off by the entrance, which has a door off the street leading into a corridor to the reception. The location is ideal and offers all the usual services. The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms tastefully decorated. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Always with a smile. We had an outside room onto...

We were met by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. We had used the hotel shuttle from the airport which was prompt and a reasonable price. The room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The lift takes a bit of getting used too!! Breakfast was ample and very nice. Hotel has a great location, would highly...

The hotel is in very good location right on vaci utca street where are many stores and restaurants. Metro station also about 200-300m away. Clean and nice big rooms. Breakfast is small but enough to start your day well. Entrance could be more visible because a few times we almost walked past.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
