The hotel is in very good location right on vaci utca street where are many stores and restaurants. Metro station also about 200-300m away. Clean and nice big rooms. Breakfast is small but enough to start your day well. Entrance could be more visible because a few times we almost walked past.

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a package and would highly recommend the hotel. It is an ideal location right in the middle of Budapest with a pedestrianised area outside. Close to shops and good restaurants. The staff were really helpful and booked a superb restaurant for us. The hotel is small and does not have a bar...

Would strongly recommend the Promenade City hotel for a budget short city break. Great location and very clean. For a relatively small fee you can upgrade to a large room with complimentary mineral water and coffee facilities.

The beauty of this hotel is it's location only a few minutes walk to the Christmas Markets and in the other direction the river, perfect. The rooms were a good size and very warm which was needed in December. The breakfast was okay but it is a small dining area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Though all the...

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with helpful staff on reception and a nice breakfast spread. The location is ideal for exploring. Many things are walking distance, but for those that are further afield the metro is nearby. I went during the Christmas Markets period and they were all a short walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay...

Me and my friend were there for 3 nights. Our arrival in our room was not good enough, but all is well when we left. The reception reached out to us about the problem and it's been solved. The room is spacious with everything you need except for a bathrubs (but not a big deal).

We have just spent 5 nights at this hotel in room 203 which overlooks Vacci street. Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
