Cozy hostel with friendly staff. They're offering a good quality in the morning! Mmm.... Location is great ...once you find it - googling the hostel's name gives a totally different address which can cause a bit of a hazzle finding it.

In all honesty we genuinely choose this hostel because they had a goat as a profile picture. We had hoped to enjoy Budapest with goats, however probably due to hygienic reasons there were none. But plenty of pictures of them, which was just as good! After a fairly party-ish hostel (Munich Wombat) this hostel was so chilled out. Great location....

My first impressions of this hostel weren't great; it's quite dated, but as soon as ild settled it was ideal. Road is quite noisy especially as the trams pass from very early morning, the room was quite hot and the lockers aren't very big. However staff are friendly, showers are great and location definitely makes it worth staying here.

Great location. Close to the city market, to the subway, and walking distance to many attractions. The owners were very nice and held our room even thought we were pretty late and had not sent any email telling them we were late. The hostel is small, so the bathroom per person ratio is good. They also cleaned the bathrooms many...

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. Great value, with nice amenities for a hostel. The staff was absolutely fantastic! I couldn't have asked to have nicer individuals helping me during my journey. The went above and beyond their need for service. Will stay again if I make it back to Buda!

This is a superb hostel in a brilliant location in Budapest. The staff at the hostel were really friendly, the hostel was very clean, quiet and provided a good nights sleep. Would have no hesitation staying here again when we next visit Budapest!

A great small non-party hostel. Very relaxed atmosphere, clean and quiet. The guys who run this place are awesome, very nice and helpful people. Surprisingly inexpensive for the quality of the accommodations and you can pay in either Euro or Forint. The rooms are quiet (even the street facing room I was in), the beds are comfortable, you are provided...

My husband and I stayed in the Goat Hostel from a Saturday to a Tuesday morning. When we first arrived, we signed in and were told how much we owed (which we had to pay in cash but could pay in either Euros or Hungarian forints). We were given a map and the staff recommended a few restaurants and places...

“I stayed in the street side, north-facing six bed dorm at the end of the hall with the showers/bathrooms. It is a main road, but on a quiet stretch, so there isn't much street noise aside from cars.”
