This was a very pleasant hostel to stay at. Although I would describe it as more of an apartment than a hostel. The room was very clean and the furniture was nicely spread out. We had a private bathroom, washing machine as well as a small kitchenette and a fridge. As well as a room containing three single beds, we... More

Absolutely great place to stay in Budapest! On the side of Pest and only a short walk to all the restaurants and shops in the Pest centre. Also a short walk to the Danube and across to Buda - great location. Although, at first it did seem in a bit of a dodgy area and quite hard to find the... More

No air conditioning, only provided with one fan between 7 of us, we had to source our own fan to make it bearable. No hot water for the whole time we were there, was impossible to shower because the water was freezing cold and took your breath away. Wifi was very weak. Although the man was helpful in showing us... More

We loved staying here, it was so great to have a cute apartment to ourselves, with two bathrooms a kitchen, table, sofa and spiral staircase up to a bedroom. Was central, close to lots of good ruin pubs and the staff were very helpful with providing information on where to go, and giving us money off vouchers. Would definitely stay... More

I was here with some of my friends for the weekend and this place was awesome! There were 5 of us, but I bought the extra beds in the room so we had the place all to ourselves. From start to finish the owner and his team were fantastic (my sincere apologies for writing this so late). It started off... More

My partner and I stayed in one of the flats for 3 nights, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The flat we stayed in had everything you'd need including kitchen, washing machine and 2 bathrooms. We were greeted by Milan who was so friendly and helpful, his English was great, he was very funny and helped us so much with... More

We stayed at the hostel as a group of 12 people and it was perfect for our needs. To be honest, the appartments are not 'luxury', but they are lovely and clean! The prices are really low, so simply perfect for young people looking for a cheap accomodation in Budapest! So I would defenitely recommend it if you're looking for... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
