You got a comfortable (double en suite) room with everthing you need. Nice view. In the center of Budapest which is great. I watch a football match with friends in the lobby on a projector screen. Cool experience.

This hostel is in an excellent location (close to public transportation and 10-15 min walk to St. Stephen's Basilica) and is a great value for the price. I had reserved a private room with en-suite bathroom, and the room was perfect! Very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The front desk was very helpful with recommendations and also stored our luggage for...

We (a couple) lived in a three room appartment in the city center. It was really great expearence. The staff is friendly and competent. The appartment has all the facilities for a comfortable stay (a refregirator, a washing machine, a stove etc). They also provide tea, coffee, sugar. We visited on April when it is not too hot and not...

I stayed there for 3 nights, the rooms are fine but it is more like an appartment, you don't have any animation at night. The WiFi didn't work the first day. It is very well located just at a metro station and next to lots of good restaurants.

Stayed overnight, was pleased with good customer service at the reception. Bed was nice. Close to metro 3 (Budapest). Common area with sofas and lots of tea to choose from. Service 24 hours. I would definitely return.

WiFi was goo as well and it's in the rooms. 24 reception is really helpful with tips etc. There's a common area as well downstairs with movies etc. It was...

Centrally located accommodation, within walking distance of many local amenities and attractions. Extremely clean and well equipped apartment. We arrived late and staff were extremely accommodating, showed us to our room and were very helpful with any queries. In our apartment we were welcomed to a free bottle of champagne. Brilliant service would certainly recommend.

My friend and I had such a nice stay at Maverick Hostel last weekend. We had a studio apartment which was so great - even with free coffee and tea. Location was perfect! We were actually quite surprised after our first walk in the city that we were home so sudden - it was so close to the city center....

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
