I have just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Overall, I found it clean, I thought the staff were helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and of decent quality. The hotel was also very quiet. The only real negative issue for me, and I note that this comment seems to be cropping up a fair amount and...

We found this hotel, booked for us via Citiesdirect in the UK to be fine. Nothing special but it is quiet and clean, close to all you want to see and the staff are helpful. The buffet breakfast is good and they serve decent coffee. The rooms are perfectly OK, if a little small, and the windows open for fresh...

Having read previous reviews I had mixed feelings about this hotel. However, apart from one or two things, overall this hotel was in a good location, whilst not completely central, everything was within easy reach. Decor could do with upgrading a bit, carpets were quite dirty, and had to make sure I kept my shoes on. Paintwork in room was...

Excellent location near Parliament and Margaret Bridge, but a little way out of the busy tourist centre, so nice and quiet. Generally very comfortable, although just a few little niceties were missing - the room had a minibar and kettle but if you want tea and coffee you have to purchase a kit from reception. There were no tissues in...

This hotel is in a good location on the Pest side only 2 min walk from a subway station (and the largest shopping centre). the yellow trams run on the Main Street nearby, so easy to get over the bridge to Buda side. It's in a quiet side street, so not much traffic noise. It was generally clean, with very...

The hotel is in a good location. Front desk was reluctantly helpful providing information to a spa. The night staff were much better. The room was quite dirty. The floor was filthy. Glad we are only here for one night!

The hotel itself is very modern and decorative, however this hotel for me does have some faults. The rooms are extremely hot and with very poor air conditioning, the beds are also very hard and only get one pillow. The hotel says it offers buffet breakfast however this is somewhat of an over statement! You get a choice of mini...

Nice hotel, good area although its not that central. There wasn't a lot of choice at breakfast but what was there was good. Staff spoke good English, were friendly and more than happy to help. If you have you window open the rooms can be a bit noisy but that's what you expect from a hotel in the city.

The hotel is well marked as position for sightseeing which is available in foot. In the vicinity is also tram station of old budapest tram which is very charming. The room was neat, clean and fine decorated.Hotel and enviroment are very pleasant but I think they should do further something about breakfast which is really mediocre, without special, just tipical...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
