We'd asked for a quiet nonsmoking room and got it. It was so narrow that we had to slide sideways along the wall to get to the head of the bed. Speaking of which, it was particleboard with a 2 inch foam pad that had seen better days. The two "pillows" were about a foot square and lumpy. There was...

I had a 'single' room here which had a small double bed - the room was very small but clean , the small ensuite bathroom was spotless and the shower was great . Overall, simple but with friendly/efficient staff in reception and easy location, I found nothing to complain about for the price.

The location was good! I was a bit disappointed to the room! Our room was not clean, the wooden floor was very dirty and disgusting and the room smelled like mold. I think that nobody had washed the floor nor the bath room (shower cabin) for ages! The room didn't feel very cozy since there wasn't any armchair, table nor...

I can't believe what a bargain this was. The place is immaculately clean. I stayed on the 3rd floor, which was literally just constructed, it still smelled like fresh paint. THe room is very small, but I am only in a room to sleep and shower. So it is basic, which was fine for me. Cable flat screen TV, private...

I consider several factors in choosing a hotel, then rating it afterwards. I also try and get hotels that have character or a feel for where we are, or the type of trip I am on. In other words, when in Prague, I don't want the Hilton. Reviews by others are very important, and we do our homework. Also, location,...

Easy to find if you just look out for the Burger King when you come out of the metro! If you are just looking for a clean, basic room with pleasant staff in a convenient location then this fits the bill perfectly. Just somewhere to rest your head and feels secure and straightforwards. Supermarket and all conveniences including metro and...

You can readily reach the hotel on foot from Keleti train station. The staff were exceptional and even sent a Christmas card. It is a converted residential building with large rooms and kitchen facilities. Bathrooms are new and spotless. You will not find better accommodations at this price in Budapest, albeit a basic room and no other hotel services. Can...

The locations is great! just right by the metro station! But I'm not sure how to get into the building...(from what I remembered...the door bell does not work) but luckily we met a resident at the front door so we were able to get in!! The room is spacious and clean and there's a small but functional kitchen which is...

While the hotel is close to the train station, the taxi driver didin't seem to know the street and it cost us a fortune to find it. Did we get taken for a ride, which was not the fault of the hotel! Might be helpful to have more direct address information, however. The neighbourhood is very mixed, however, the subway...

arrived in front of the hotel and wondered where on earth we had ended up.... but once you figure out how to get inside, go up a flight of stairs, then you realize it's not so bad at all! really lovely courtyard with very friendly and helpful staff. spent one night after the sziget festival and it was extremely comfortable,...
