It was initially difficult to locate the place though the satnav took us right in front of it. The board is very small. We were there on a public holiday (All Saints day) and were able to find the general parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is in a old building on the 3rd floor. The rooms are...

I happened upon this hotel after staying in a rather dodgy place out near the bus terminal. This hotel is brand new (thrid floor of a typical older building), and is quality throughout. Extremely nice paint job and beautiful ceramic tile everywhere. Bathroom is beautiful and has a jacuzzi!! The room is large (really a suite) and in case you...

Very cosy and clean hotel. Great location and metro station just outside the door. Food tastey and the staff very helpful. Would definitely recommend it to a friend. The only negative I would say, and it still didn't diminish my enjoyment of the place, was that my room was beside the reception door entrance so if you happened to be...

This is a really good hotel, very satisfied with the room I got and the services provided, as well as the location. For what I paid I am very happy, the only reason that I am not giving a better mark is due to the lock at the entrence door that makes a high pitch sound when the key is...

This is my first time review and I have been compelled to write after my recent visit to Budapest. I had read the reviews mentioning the entrance to the hotel etc - but in my defence I had not expected what befell us on arriving at the hotel, the entrance to the - ill lit hall and lift that terrified...

The food was excellent. About the same price as Ireland¡!!!!!!¡ but well worth the visit. I love Hungarian Goulash but it is not as nice as my Irish Stew!!!! The weather was lovely, so we could sit outside.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights while in Budapest. We arrived from our train after dark so it was a little sketchy coming in when we didn't really know for sure where we were going since the hotel is off the street on the 3rd floor of a building. But after that, our stay was great. The hotel...

I have seen many hotels and hostels in my life as a tour guide, and I can say this is one of the best ones ever. We stayed here unfortunately only 1 night with my kind Japanese friends, but enjoyed it a lot! The staff was especially friendly all the time, the room was big and clean and equipped with...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
