Judit is a wonderful host, we got a warm welcome and info about (getting around) te city which made our 2.5 day stay perfect. The room (nr. 2 out of 5 rooms) was big, clean and nice! It's located in a quiet area which guarantees a good nights sleep. Breakfast was nice. We walked everywhere which is the best way... More

Lived with my parents in a 3-bed room. 2-3 days before our arrival, I received an email from the host asking about our place & time of arrival in Budapest, and gave us suggestions regarding different modes of transport to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the cheerful host gave us a nice introduction to Budapest and was... More

I'll preface this review by saying if there wasn't all the noise that woke me up each morning, it would have been a very enjoyable stay..... when I first arrived at the guestrooms and saw the five floors of scaffolding erected in the inner courtyard to renovate the building, the first thing I asked was whether there were workers making... Thank you for taking time and write a long detailed review about your stay in our Kofarago street B&B from September 24 for few nights, but unfortunately you forgot some important details. at 8 am when they mixed up the material there was noise about 5 minutes time and after approximately in every hour again 5 minutes when they run... Greater by the host who was also kind enough to give us an overview of what to see in the city. We were really tired on arrival and even though we arrived rather early (11am) our room was ready which was a blessing. Our room was facing street but it's a quiet street so noise not an issue. Beds were... More

There are two types of rooms (two buildings). One type is apartments with kitchen/living/dining room and separate bedroom and other is several private rooms with a shared common space with microwave and related amenities where breakfast can be purchased as part of B&B. These B&B rooms have coffee maker and refrigerators. All rooms/apartments have private baths. Cleanliness is outstanding and... More

HI, I stayed a few days over at Budapest Guestrooms. It was a last minute booking so this is what guided my choice, it looked the best option that was left for me at the time. First of all, once you booked, you need to agree on a time of arrival at the place, owner does not appear to leave... More

I can only repeat what others already said about Judit and her husband being very professional and helpful. The place does not look much from the outside as this is an old area of Budapest, however the inside is modern and clean and good value for a family stay. The metro is only a few minutes walk. Budapest is great... More

I stayed 2 nights in the GuestRooms. We were given great directions via e-mail on how to get to the property from the train station. Upon our arrival we were greeted by our hostess and given an abundance of information on things to do and see during our stay in Budapest. The rooms were had a very modern decor. There... More

We spent two nights in this lovingly renovated old building. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned with modern bathrooms and a standup shower. We did not make use of the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of around the clock staffing and no a/c in the common areas. We stayed on the first floor,... More
