Very nice hotel, clean rooms and daily housekeeping. The drinks at the bar are reasonably priced and the breakfast has a large variety of different foods that are replenished very regularly. We asked the receptionist to book us a taxi twice and both times they arrived within 5 minutes. We paid an extra £24 to have our room until 6pm...

Good things: very clean and beautifully designed, perfect for romantic nights away. Very close to Metro Line 2 and 4, so easy access to the city. Reception can arrange tickets, tours etc if you like. Good wifi signal and the bathroom was nice, clean and had strong showers! The breakfast selection was relatively small for a continental buffet but was...

This hotel is in a great location, handy for the hop-on hop-off buses which are a must to city this beautiful city. Very near the train station and metro, getting around Budapest is a piece of cake. The breakfast was plentiful and catered for everyone's taste. We travelled on the Big Bus Company (hop on) for 3 days for just...

My partner and I stayed here we found the service great, rooms clean and tidy. At the front desk you can book and pay for activities. The transfer from the airport to the hotel is cheaper than from the hotel to the airport. Breakfast was nice and had a few different selections. Close to transport

This is a lovely hotel with great potential but small things let it down mainly in the housekeeping dept. Having arrived for a short break I had made the decision to use the complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Once in the shower (and wet) I discovered that the dispenser was empty. I reported this at the desk the next morning...

Excellent service, we paid for the hotel car to pick us up at the airport, great start to the holiday without the hassle of trying to find our way round. Arrived relaxed, great room, not much of a view. Street wasn't necessarily the best but we had no trouble. Buffet breakfast set us up for the days sightseeing. Courteous staff,...

Stayed 3 nights - staff were courtesy and helpful. Breakfast good. We were given a room with a bath tub that was so difficult to get in and out of especially for a short person. The tub was so high but it was no trouble getting moved to a room with a shower. The hotel has no tea/coffee making facilities...

Could not find fault here, apart from it being in a less desirable area, but quite central for trains and buses . We upgraded to a better room with a coffee & tea maker and full bathroom. We stayed here for four nights. Nice hotel, clean and tidy, staff very helpful. It could do with being half a mile nearer the river. The area is a bit run down and was not quite what we expected. Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
