We recently stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. My husbands wallet containing £75 was locked in the room safe with our own PIN number. On the train back in UK my husband opened his wallet and £75 was gone. This was taken whilst the wallet was in the safe in our room. The safe has a PIN number that...

We've just been guests to Silver Hotel Budapest when we visited Christmas Markets in Budapest. The hotel was easy to reach, it is very close to the heart of the city. We have walked for about 20-25 minutes to get to the the Christmas Markets. The metro station is olny 25 meters from the hotel. The room is small, but it...

My boyfriend and I stayed here on an airfare + hotel package, so I can't comment on the value. I will, however, comment on a number of other aspects. We were put in a triple rather than double room, so we had extra space which was nice. We also had a terrace, but it was cold so that didn't matter....

The hotel's location is excellent. The metro is just next to it, on the main road. The rooms are clean and the breacfast is good enough. Many sightseeings you can approach just by feet. Also in the area there are many bars, bistro and cafes.

Very good location, close to city centre with many restaurant and coffee shops nearby. Generally the hotel is clean and the stuff is friendly. Wi-fi works good. Other than that its' decoration is very outdated and it has only one elevator in which only two people can fit!!! Breakfast is very poor and there is no hairdryer or shampoo/shower gel...

Well it's basic for tight budget... clean, good location but it's a TWO STAR HOTEL... Breakfast is pretty poor and not good at all... Stuff is kind except for 1 person... really old building... its close to everything you need though and it's really cheap so it depends what you want. I wouldn't stay again

After reading the reviews before we went to Budapest, I nearly cancelled the hotel, but decided to give the hotel a go, as we would be only sleeping there, we were in room 509 5th floor, at the back, it was very quiet, not a good view from the window but as we were seeing Budapest, there was no need to...

The hotel is well located. The room are basics. The staff has some good and bad people. We had an issue with the shower during our whole trip, no help from the staff. The breakfast is quiet simple, industrial food and drinks, no taste.

We picked this hotel as we were on a budget. Having stayed at hostels before this we were not expecting much at all - we were very pleasantly surprised. Great location, OK rooms, excellent staff and good breakfast. Location: Perfect. Sure, it's not right in the middle of town, but the M1 metro line is 1 minute away, and Déak...
