The hotel was well located close to the main sights of the city and a very short walk from everywhere including a large number of very good restaurants and a few bars. The hotel itself is small but nice. Good service before hand in getting in touch and arranging an airport transfer which was very smooth and not too much...

We absolutely loved our 4 night stay at this hotel. I was in contact with Nora prior to our arrival and she was very quick with responses and set up our pick up and drop off from the airport. The hotel itself is wonderfully located close to the Liberty bridge and one street away from Vaci street. The tram stops...

We stayed for three nights after travelling from Vienna. Easy to reach by subway, the hotel is in a suprisingly quiet location in the middle of old Pest. Really close to shops, restaurants and sights. The Danube is a single block away. Room was average size for a boutique hotel, a bit cramped but well planned. The courtyard is quiet...

We had three friends stay together and the triple room was great. Two separate rooms. Plenty of soap, shampoo and towels. Nice hair dryer. Very clean hotel. The breakfast included was fantastic and exceeded our expectations especially compared with what we're used to in the U.S. The location was good. Very close to Vaci St, Central Market and a short...

Hotels have very nice location, just 2 minutes walking from Vaci street. And you will need 15-20 minutes walking to the city center all trough nice part of city (Vaci street or next to river). Hotel is not big and staff is friendly and pleasant. Rooms are small and not well equipped (maybe because lack of space). They are nicely...

This was our third time in 4 years in Budapest and we had booked a hotel by the Opera house as we always do. Suddenly we had the inspiration to change the locality for our stay so long as we could cross the river on foot and what a super decision! The location of the hotel is absolutely smashing and...

I stayed at the Bohem Art Hotel with a friend over Easter. The room is small but has everything you need. The location of the hotel is great for discovering the city. The breakfast was a delight. What stands out though is the friendliness of the staff at the hotel. I was in contact with Nora prior to my stay...

Situated in Pest near the Liberty Bridge with the Danube a block away and the shopping pedestrian mall of Vaci a block away in the other direction it is a gem of a boutique hotel. The rooms, while not being large, have optimized the use of space. The decor is imaginative and modern. The staff very friendly and helpful. The...

We loved this hotel for its location and great service! Breakfast is very generous and between 2-4pm , there is free tea & coffee and snacks. Our room was comfortable, bathroom was spotless however we would really have appreciated larger towels. Staff were very polite and always helpful. In comparison to most hotels we've stayed in, the rooms are on...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
