Very warm welcome (plus sparkling wine!) at this centrally located hotel. Staff could not be more helpful and rooms were stylish, clean and comfortable. Interesting variety of mood lighting in superior room, including red LEDs around the headboard! Inquiries were dealt with promptly and efficiently, including making bookings for various activities and booking taxis etc. All over, well worth a... More

Excellent location. Quiet, yet close to everything. Friendly staff. Clean room. Free WiFi. Great shower! 24 hour room service, nice option after traveling 30 hours and arriving to the hotel very late and tired. Modern decor, clean lines, but quirky-almost kinky--red fabric choices in bedroom.

Stylish, the best location in town, friendly and service minded staff, the designer has clearly been allowed to living his dreams (or nightmares - depending on your tastes) but it is done to a level of perfection that mutes all critics. This is on my top 5 list of European boutique hotels.

Birthday trip to Budapest made special by the hotel and staff. A great welcome, spacious boutique room facing the square. Made use of the Spa, jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Breakfast adequate and location ideal for main sights. Within walking distance of everything. Thank you.

Located quiet at the end of the shopping area. Restaurant with possibility to sit outside watching the freedom place and a playful fontain. Glass walls to bathroom, nice Bath tub and waterfall shower.

If there is anything I can say about this hotel is that it is worth being called a star: it is in a great location facing a park and it is surrounded by a variety of restaurants you ever need to try. It is in the center of it all without the noise! The staff are warm and friendly, the... More

Hotel location is excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff were surly and unaccommodating - no bottled water in the room except for the first day during a 37C heat wave? Staff unwilling to help, despite hotel claiming to be luxury. This hotel is more expensive than average in Budapest but I felt it was pretty poor value. The... More

We stayed here for a long weekend in Budapest. It has the perfect location, as it is in the center in a very quiet area, which is a big pro in comparison to other hotels in the area which are located close to noisy city traffic. The rooms are very beautiful and clean, the bathtub and rainshower is simply amazing.... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
