Friendly staff and well-positioned hotel. Easy to walk to most attractions on the Pest side. Many restaurants, bars & cafes nearby. Good breakfast choice with excellent coffee. Hotel organised a pick up from and to the airport, all went smoothly and not expensive. Only drawback rather narrow (but comfy) single beds in our twin room.

I was so delighted with this wonderful hotel. My first ever visit to Budapest, was so great, and I am amazed at how much money I brought with me, and didn't need to use, and will redeposit to my bank account today! From the moment I arrived at this hotel, travel weary from being up about 24 hours, they were...

Its a small and compact hotel, and you Hardly notice it from outside, but the staff is very friendly and helpfull. A big plus was the bathtub in the bathroom. A minus was that the food in the morning was rather dissapointing, but in a city like Budapest where you can get so much great food, it doesnt matter really.

We stayed at Baron residence at our stay in Budapest. We lived on the topfloor, in a beautiful suite... The staff was very friendly and helpful all hours a day/night. We can only recommend this place to live, if your trip goes to Budapest😊

It is a very small and nice hotel. All was very clean. Staff was really great !!! Very good Location in central (Metro/Train/Vaci Street). In the room was free bottle with water and coffee. The room clean was daily. Only 2 problem: 1) WIFI not works or works very poor 2) Elevator small and sometimes not work.

We visit there about four nights and I have to say that the staff here was great! They all were warm and made us feel welcomed. Nice additional bonus was that they upcraded our room without asking or addittional charces! Room was very clean everyday and breakfast was tasteful. Location is excellent too!

I'm not sure in what system this hotel would be rated 4 star. It certainly didn't match up to my expectations of a four star. The rooms are very small , with little room to move around the twin beds which were smaller than normal singles. There were no tea / coffee making facilities in the room and the TV...

Dear Claire C, Thank you for your positive comment about or staff's performance, the cleaning, the facilities and the location. It is true that we cannot do heating and air-conditioning at the same time in the rooms but it is early March now, and 0-2C at night so heating is necessary, in the daytime the guests can open the windows...

Friendly and helpful staff members, easily located and very central to all the areas you wish to visit. Comfortable stay, worth noting that if you are a group bigger than 2, you won't have your own bed but will be put on a sofa bed Spa and sauna ok, but looks a lot grander in the photos Overall a nice...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
