Was pretty impressed with this place, the staff were generally friendly and helpful, we booked a 4 bed room with an ensuite which was great, lots of room. One of the blinds wasn't working but the location was pretty quiet so it didn't make any difference. They let you store luggage after you check out but it's just in an...

After a less experience in another hostel in Budapest, we came here and immediately felt at home. The staff is very friendly and easy going. The room was spacious, very clean and nice to stay. Only minus was that it was located next to the breakfast room (nice breakfast though, serve yourself in a cozy atmosphere), so it got a...

This was my first trip to Budapest and I was very satisfied with our stay at Jimi Hendrix. The main reception is in a separate building. You come to check-in, they give you the key and show you the apartment. Our studio was a few blocks away, on Raday street full of nice restaurants and bars. Close to the city...

I've been in Budapest with my family for a few days and I was looking for a place to sleep for a good price. I found Jimi Hendrix Residence based on the reviews. The place was close to main attractions, in an old and beautifull building situated in a little square where, at the time of our visit, was a...

When we travel we look for relatively inexpensive places to sleep - that's why we chose "Jimi". I have to say this is exactly the kind of accomodation i like - nothing fancy, but we had a room with nice big bed, and a clean bathroom. There was a TV and some furniture of course, but as I said, basically...

We spent four days in Budapest and selected Jimi Hendrix Guesthouse based on reviews here. I have to say at first, we did not spend our time in actual "guesthouse", instead in one of their apartments. They have couple apartments as well the main guesthouse. Our Apartment was bit far away from the actual guesthouse, about few blocks but that...

The apartment was very spacious (old style with high ceilings) with a well-equipped kitchen. It was a very distance from the main guesthouse where the reception and breakfast room are located. The keys to the corridor and room were tricky to use. The staff were very friendly and helpful - especially an elderly sweet lady Eva who served breakfast. Overall...

surprisingly good, considering the extremely low price, including breakfast in the guest house kitchen, very spacious - just good value for little money. Situated in an interesting area, quite central.

We stayed in the apartment which was a bit far from the main guesthouse but the tram stop was very near so it was still convenient to get around. There was many convenience shops nearby. The building was very dark especially at night. The condition of the apartment was good at a reasonable price. Breakfast was included. The staff who...

We had a good stay here recently - we stayed at the flat a bit away from the Guesthouse. The service and communication all along went good. The apartment was ok, but fixing a few things there would have made it even better. Example: one of the beds was not quite up to it and curtains was not easy to...

“If travelling in summer if could be hot in the apartment and it might be noisy with the window open. They do provide a fan. Don't be afraid to explore District 8. The ruin bars are worth a look but very touristic. Always buy a metro ticket as inspectors are at every metro station but less on the tram system. Try one of the Funnel cakes they are delicious and so is the Goulash!! Beautiful City!”
