Our experience with this Hilton was 5 star start to finish. Prior to arriving, we communicated with hotel to arrange for a pick up at the airport (at an excellent price). For 8 nights we enjoyed a beautiful king room with a view over the Fisherman’s Bastion across the Danube to Parliament. Absolutely first class room. Ms. Agnus P., the concierge in the executive lounge was fantastic, as were the wait staff. So friendly and ready to help. Both Balazs A. And Peter S. at the concierge desk downstairs were also outstanding in their desire to make sure our visit was perfect. From arranging a private cab to get us to Memento Park, to train tickets to Prague, to information about the various baths - we relied on their help and vast knowledge daily. Morning breakfast buffet was

We came here to refresh ourselves and enjoy some food before we continued our adventures, lovely hotel with slightly stand offish staff. We did however enjoy our food and would return, possibly to stay as it is in a great location.

Beautiful. Fantastic. Great value. Can't wait to go back. The location in Buda can't be beat. Loads of restaurants and shops within an easy walk. Could not have been happier with our accommodations and the warm welcome.

We booked this as a package with our flight from the UK and we were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is mostly modernised (the dining area closes this winter for updating) and as a result the bar, lounge area and bedrooms are very pleasant with high class fabrics and linens in the bedrooms. The hotel is very comfortable and feels and looks expensive. The mirrors either side of the bedroom windows reflect the lights and nearby buildings and is a beautiful touch. Although we had a "guest" bedroom we did pay extra for a Danube view which is definitely worth the extra money. At night the Hungarian Parliament on the opposite bank is illuminated. Our bathroom had a huge shower and a separate large bath. Slightly more generous body wash products would be appreciated. The bed

Dear Bindib, Thank you for your valuable feedback! We sincerely appreciate you for praising the facilities, our recently modernized guest rooms and redesigned public areas. We are happy to know that you were pleased with our helpful, professional staff. We are just about undergoing the next phase of our complete refurbishment process including ICON restaurant, the rest of the guestrooms and guest corridors as well. This Hilton property is perfect for touring Budapest. The Castle District is a "gated" area; therefore safe with access to shops, great restaurants (be sure to eat at the Pest Buda Restaurant 1 block from the hotel for great Paprikash and the sit outside at the cafe directly across the street for some great people watching)! Our Danube River view room was spectacular. Service was great! Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is newly renovated. It is pretty spectacular in itself. Plus, the location in the old city of Buda cannot be beat. The hotel is built right into the ruins of buildings which are hundreds of years old. The hotel overlooks the Danube River and the Pest side of Budapest. Again, a big wow factor. Try and have Gold or Diamond status and you get to have use of the Executive Lounge, and breakfast and small dinner and you can mingle with other guests, which we found fun. Staff is very good and very professional. There is always someone there to help you with your tour needs and information. I had a car from the hotel pick us up at the train station and had the cost put on our bill. I had read bad things about crooks at the train station as well as some dodgy taxi

I love this hotel because it’s so close to many points of interest like the Fishermen’s Bastion, the National Gallery, the Budapest History Museum and the Citadel. It’s a gorgeous hotel with very nice and renovated rooms. I got the 323 with a nice view of the church and a beautiful bathroom. Having a drink or tea time is a fancy proposition at their bar. I just loved it all, no complaints whatsoever. Most people decide to stay on the city side across the river and I think that’s smart but this side has many many things to see and it’s comfortable to be near the castle’s attractions.

Beautiful view on the Danube. Great central location - perfect for visits. Friendly staff. Soundproofing of the room to be improved: total lack of privacy from one room to the other. Nice breakfast. À place to recommend.

The Hilton Budapest is a great place to stay in the Castle District. Modern, clean, friendly staff and close to great attractions and restaurants. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was they gave me a room with twin beds. Upon checking in they should have mentioned that! After 43 years of marriage, I still like to sleep with my wife! I guess the twin bed thing is European? LOL.
