The hotel was very clean, the staff super friendly and helpful; wonderful breakfasts, very accessible to public transportation and tourist destinations. We bombarded the front desk crew with millions of questions and they were very patient and accommodating.

The staff is wonderful, courteous and extremely helpful. Hotel is very short walk to the Underground and sights. Great breakfast offerings to start your day. Rooms are comfortable. I would return to this hotel.

Very good hotel. Short walking distance to many of the main tourist areas: Heroes Square, Szechenyi Baths, Varosliget Park, among others. The staff was helpful and the breakfast ok. Great for the price. Would stay there again.

This hotel is clean, the rooms are simple, the beds are comfortable. No comfortable place to sit in the room, but who is spending much time in the room anyway. Very close to Heroes Square, Millennium Monument, and Vajdahunyad Castle. These are not the best attractions in the city, but worth seeing. Szechenyi Thermal Baths worth experiencing are within walking...

There's absolutely nothing to argue about the location: I could see the hotel from inside the Zoo. :)) It's not very close to everything but it is quite reachable by subway, trolleybus and buses. The metro line that runs by the hotel will take you straight into the action in the city centre. The Heroes Square, the zoo, museums and...

Ignore the posts about this hotels location not being good. For the price its perfect! You wouldn't get a hotel this good, this cheap anywhere nearer town. Its a 20 minute walk into the centre max and down one straight main road, so not hard! Also the walk takes you past some interesting buildings and Squares in you read your...

I disagree with the previous review "Gathy40 RE: Perfect location". Although the hotel is close to Heroes Square, it's not close to anything else. There are no decent restaurants for dinner or coffee shops to have breakfast and a decent coffee. Which bring me to the following: The hotel want to charge 10 EURO for breakfast. For a small (and...

We loved the location of this hotel, imagine the first thing you see in the morning and the last you see at night being Heroes Square, absolutely stunning. The hotel has very helpful and friendly staff. Although the rooms are very basic (with amazing showers) it really is all you need in such a stunning city. I would definitely recommend...

It was my first visit to the Ibis Heroes Square in Budapest. I was in Budapest on new year celebration with my friends. We stayed for 2 days in the hotel. The first day we got corner room on first floor with not functional heating system. We were contacting hotel staff but there was no improvements. Next day we got...
