Spent 3 nights here with my daughter in this 3* hotel whilst visiting Budapest. Thought the hotel was lovely, very clean, good size room, bathroom a bit small but adequate. Staff were extremely polite and helpful! Buffet breakfast with cereal, yoghurts, croissants, bread rolls, cold meats cheeses, etc. Hotel was situated in the old town which was perfect. To me...

We booked this hotel thru European Destinations and were not disappointed..its just across the Elizabeth Bridge in a quiet little section with little street traffic. Its perfectly situated near Buda Castle and various other attractions, we were happy to walk over to the Pest side daily to sightsee over there, but there are several other means of transport (bus, tram,...

I can't say much about the hotel, because I didn't stay there since when I arrived from the airport coming from Colombia at midnight and with our luggage, a very friendly guy told us that we didn't have room, and they had arrange another place to stay. We had booked to rooms. The other place was quite strange, with no...

This hotel is in a great location. Close to Buda Hill and Elizabeth Bridge which takes you to Pest side. Very nice breakfast with pleasant service. Must recognize Lafos Szekeres always a smiling face and eager to please. It made our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of November, beginning of December, traveling by personal car. The hotel is situated relatively in the city center (10-15 minutes to the city center by walking). The rooms are ok, with enough space and clean. The bath is small, but also it was ok. At breakfast they don't give too many possibilities:...

If you desire all the bells and whistles then this location is probably not for you. If you are looking for a great location and very comfortable room with a staff that is absolutely wonderful. The location allows walking to the Chain Bridge and the Budacastle in just a few minutes. The hotel offers a great breakfast daily which includes...

Stayed for three nights last weekend with four other friends. Found the hotel clean and comfortable. It's in a good position near Elizabeth bridge so a short walk to the other side for restaurants and bars. Breakfast was good and plentiful. My only niggle was we returned to the hotel one night around 10 so not late and asked if...

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
