Nice place to relax. Our room had a view of the "eye" ferris wheel and was within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. The open-air restaurant at the back of the hotel had great hamburgers with fries and home-made bread.

The location of this hotel was great. We rarely felt we were far from the action and most places we were heading to were just 2 stops away by metro. A tip for reaching the hotel from the airport, take the 200E bus to the M3 metro. It's much more cost effective (about $2 USD per person). The hotel itself...

Was only here for a couple of days for a conference, but it was very pleasant, facilities were great and the location is convenient to get down to the river and for shopping. I have stayed in Budapest before, and the other hotels can feel a little 'post Soviet'...but that certainly was not the case here.

Having been to Kempinski Cathedral Square in Vilnius several times, and the late lamented Hybernska in Prague, we have been very impressed with our Kempinski experiences, and so, my partner and I eagerly anticipated our stay in Budapest at the Corvinus. Alas, the discovery that in a FIVE STAR HOTEL, there was no tea and coffee making facilities in our...

I have recently stayed at Kempinski Budapest with my family and enjoyed the stay very much. The downside of the room is that the beds are extremely soft and old. The water in the fridge is very expensive. I can understand the price of other drinks but whats the matter with the water? The coffee and ES deli is great...

This Hotel was just perfect. It started with a upgrade to a grand deluxe room with a spectacular view and a big bottle of champagne(a gift from the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary) ending with a man with coffee as our wake up call on our last day. Great location, Patient and courteous staff. A real class hotel. Oh...

So, following Trip Advisor results, we booked ourselves into what looked like a very classy B&B. After flying overnight and missing a connection, we arrived late to Budapest to find that the B&B wasn't quite what the reviews made it seem, including the fact that the A/C didn't work because even though it was 80 degree, they don't turn on...

We recently stayed at Kempinski Corvinus Hotel in Budapest and thought the hotel was fantastic. It is not cheap ,however, it was a really enjoyable experience staying there. Our room was faultless .It was spacious, very clean, well decorated and had a fantastic bathroom with disabled facilities if needed. As my wife has to use a wheelchair it was important...

I feel compelled to share my recent experience in a resent trip to Vienna, Prague and Budapest . I stayed in three great hotels - The Radisson, Hilton and Kempinski. My spouse and me thoroughly enjoyed the Kempinski in Budapest . The difference from all the other hotels I stayed in was that all the staff we came accross were...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
