First time at any Kempinski Hotel, it was an outstanding experience, in every sense. Excellent staff, friendly service, a little bit expensive prices at the Living Room but extraordinary breakfast and wonderful dinner at Es Restaurant. Excellent location, close to Vorosmorty Square, next to Deak...More

The hotel is located in the heart of the city near the main visitor attractions and the best shopping area. The facilities and service standards are exactly as expected from this very good hotel chain. The eating options are very good with a Nobu restaurant...More
This was my second stay at Kempinski Budapest and I was just as impressed as I was the first time. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. All in all, everything works and makes your stay enjoyable.
Stayed here recently as part of a BA city break. Very nice hotel right in the city centre and walking distance to most of the major attractions. Choose the breakfast option if you can as this is very good with a huge selection and a...More

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

Yes, I agree with the OP, that the hotel does have great limo service that will be waiting for you with a sign at arrivals and you can relax an enjoy right away. Just get in touch with the concierge by emailing the hotel. They are wonderful. This is what I would do for sure. Another option is If you have local currency (huff) the taxi stand at the airport I did note that they do give the general taxi fares so you know how much the taxi should cost. So there are two options. Again, I used the private transfer and would again.
